ONE WITH NATURE NAKED SOAP

Hi everyone,

It's been a while. I have been busy and I am also preparing for a long summer vacation. You will notice sparse posts in the coming two months, but I will have some new material more so come the fall. Also, I tend to find products I really like and work great for me so I tend not to keep tinkering around. If it ain't broke then don't try to fix it. I have been a lot more particular with my cosmetic purchasing habits as of late so that is another reason I don't have a lot to say. I actually have recently downsized my makeup collection significantly and I am so glad I did, it was a refreshing feeling to unload a lot of unnecessary crap that I truly did not need. 

I have been meaning to get this post up for quite a while now. Over the past month and a half, I have been testing out this new product I found through Well.ca called One With Nature Naked soap. The whole point in purchasing it was for the purpose of cleaning my makeup brushes, but I have also discovered it works well for cleansing my face.

One With Nature naked soap uses pure ingredients which are

• Dead sea salt
• Argan oil
• Shea butter
• Essential oils

all put together in a natural vegetable base that is triple milled right at the source "The Dead Sea". In case you're not aware triple milling creates a higher quality, longer lasting soap, which is helpful if your washing dozens of brushes. I am still using the same bar a month and a half later and barely put a dent in it, that is with washing brushes every week.

the two scents I chose were Shea & Peppermint. The other available scents on the One With Nature website that are NOT available through Well.ca are

• Hibiscus
• Rose Petal (also available through Well.ca)
• Lavender
• Berry Fusion
• Orange Bellini
• Red Currant
• Vanilla Sugar

All Naked soaps come unwrapped with no label, packaging or waste, very eco-minded. They are made in Jordan with NOTHING artificial. You get a 4oz/113g bar for $3.29 CAD or on the One With Nature website for $2.49. 

What can I say about the Naked soap, it's AMAZING. It is a fantastic creamy lather that really deep cleans my brushes, and I like that because the shea bar specifically is very mild. I have no problems with irritation, just remember even the cleansers you use on your brushes can cause breakouts if they are filled with chemicals and synthetic fragrance. Only clean your brushes with what you would be willing to put on your face too.

EPIC BLEND LIP BALM (FULL REVIEW)

Here is what is in these balms

 

HEMP- Organic hemp seed oil is a great anti-oxidant, super nourishing and quickly recovers skin cells deep in the tissue.

 

VEGAN- 100% plant-based and beeswax free. The food grade candelilla wax gives this balm its smooth texture.

 

MORE MOISTURE- Seven moistures including Organic Shea butter work together to give your lips that much needed added moisture, plus a little extra staying power.

 

All lip balms are gluten free, non-gmo, all natural & NO ANIMAL TESTING

 

So what do I personally think of these lip balms?? Well I have tried all the flavours and I have some that I feel are excellent, good, ok and just out right don't like.

 

 Excellent- I give it to the hemp coconut and the vanilla- I like the smell, the taste and the overall ability to soothe my lips. Also the Vegan Wild Berry

 

GOOD- Hemp chocolate rum & Banana, also the more moisture Cherry. Chocolate again is one of those smells and flavours that if not tackled correctly can be a little off putting, that is why to date I still love my ultimate favourite Chocolate Mint from a different brand. I also don't sense any rum essence of any kind with this particular scent. The Banana is good but I wish the Banana was a little more intense. It reminds me of banana milk on the go. The cherry flavour is a lot like Cherry Chapstick brand.

 

OK- Hemp citrus kick, grape more moisture and vegan pineapple-mint. Both the citrus kick and pineapple mint have taken some getting use to. It is funny how the pineapple mint does grow on you after you use it several times. The grape reminds me of those scented stickers from when I was a kid.

 

DO NOT LIKE- A lot of people love green apple scented things and sour green apple candy etc. I happen to be one of the people that doesn't. I also find this particular flavour has an odd undertone when I taste it on my lips, but that could just be matter of personal preference.

 

All the lip balms do a decent job of moisturizing the lips and some flavours are better then others. I have never actually seen these at a store near me, so it has been fun to experience this brand. Also if you don't want the hassle of finding a flavour you like you can still get the benefits of what the balms will do for your lips by purchasing the unflavoured if that's what you prefer.
