ANNABELLE SPRING 2015 NEW BLUSH SHADES

Today I bring to you blushes from the new Annabelle spring collection

After this review I will have you blushing all the way to the store, so lets talk makeup!

 One colour was sent to me, I also purchased two myself.

BLUSHON IN LOTUS

L2R- LOTUS & 18 ROSEWOOD

I would say Lotus is a perfect white based pink that deposits just the right amount of colour, with a lovely stay true soft matte finish. 

Did you know Annabelle blushes are also paraben & gluten free. 

The days I have worn these blushes they stayed put for several hours. I really like that there is NO scent and they do not oxidize on the skin. Also I don't like crazy shimmer which is another bonus in this collection any colours with shimmer are subtle.

I actually am really enjoying these blushes and some of the colours are reminiscent of.... dare I say Mac blushes. I only own one Mac blush, so I can't say about overall performance and texture, but I am sure there are some comparable colours in the Annabelle line and they are way more affordable.

What I like about the Annabelle blushes are they are finely milled and apply smoothly without skipping. They blend easily and the formula is gentle and the colour is very buildable which I prefer in a blush. The colour range is also good if you like blush that adds realistic cheek flush and is not over the top. I personally think I have found my favourite blush line because I never really was a fan of a lot of blush for many years and have only taken a liking to it more recently, but nothing to outrageous and this collection befits my overall makeup style which is a more healthy natural look. I do like drama for the right occasion, but keep things very minimal on an everyday basis.

BLUSHON IN ROSEBUD

Rosebud is a subtle shimmer blush that is a richer true pink that is blue based 

I also purchased 18 Rosewood which is not a new shade, but equally beautiful. Rosewood is definitely a russet warm toned blush that I love for anytime of year, but will be a lovely addition come the summer months when the skin has a healthy sunny glow.

-Ibiscus
This was a great opportunity to test out these blushes and find a new affordable fave for my makeup bag. I will be reviewing two other products from Annabelle soon, so stay tuned for that.
