LETS GET NAKED! BARE ENGLISH & CO. LIP BALMS

HI EVERYONE,

So today I wanted to share with you all a new up and coming company called BARE English & Co. I am pleased to share these new lip balms with you because the company is near and dear to my heart as they are located within my home turf of the great TORONTO, Ontario.

This is a tid bit about what Bare English & Co. are bringing to the table quoted from their website

"The entire process, from formulation to production, is done in-house allowing us to deliver a product that is superior in quality and more cost effective than our competitors.  As a result, we have secured shelf space in some of Canada’s largest retail stores and are growing at an exponential rate.  We capture the essence of city life and the goodness of nature all in one tiny tube.  Our company, just like our products, is one of a kind."

So at the present time the company offers three lip balms all of which are organic and vegan. If that wasn't enough they are also GMO & Gluten free as well as fair trade, WOW. They offer up three scrumptious flavours and the best part is they are TEA infused, yup tea! how freaking cool is that. Two of my most favourite things married together in perfect liplicious harmony. I love that Bare English & Co. are coming on to the scene small in size, but big on impact and I feel their collection will expand in due time.

So I purchased two of the lip balms and I am expecting the third one soon, so I will update that once I receive it.

First one is
MINT CHOCOLATE
I'll start by saying that mint chocolate can be a difficult flavour to pull off. I have tried many mint chocolate flavoured and scented items which usually have a funky undertone that I do not like. So kudos to Bare English for nailing this right out of the park and giving me what I always wanted a mint chocolate that tastes as good as it smells.

As you can see each tube offers up a great amount of product with no crazy colours added. There is only 10 ingredients to make up this tube of goodness, peppermint tea leaves is one of them.

Then I also grabbed the
VANILLA COCONUT
For those that have read many of my other blogs you then will know vanilla and coconut are bar none two of my most beloved flavours and scents. So this purchase was a given:)

I actually really like the shape of these lip balms as well because is actually covers your entire lip surface in one clean sweep.

The vanilla coconut smells like a Tahitian dream or a vanilla nut cupcake. Decadence for your lips with the goodness of green tea.

The last one which I do not have as of yet is Pomegranate Berry which is a yummy berry blend mingling with white tea.

Each tube contains 4.44ml of product and because of the natural elements of this product they do have expiration dates clearly marked on the box.

Anyone interested in purchasing can head on over to this link

You can use PayPal and get the trio of balms for $18 CAD and it's FREE worldwide shipping, how awesome is that.

I live in the GTA so I picked mine up at my local Rexall Pharmaplus.

WHICH FLAVOUR ARE YOU INTERESTED IN TRYING OR DO YOU WANT ALL THREE? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS.

HOPE YOU ALL ENJOYED THIS REVIEW AND BE SURE TO CHECK THESE OUT SOON, YOUR POUT WILL THANK YOU.

FREEMAN BARE FOOT BALMS AND TRIM FOOT FILE

Today I thought I would gravitate down to the subject of feet. I will start by saying that I am not a fan a feet. I hate them and think for the most part they are often ugly and unattractive.
That being said you will never see a photo of my feet or pedicures on my feet. I will not subject my readers to that unsightly mess lol.

However I will talk about products that will at least get your feet barefoot ready. If you should need to take your shoes off, be it going to the beach or just to wear open toed shoes or sandals. Yes I do wear sandals but it's not my favorite thing and I try very diligently not to draw any major attention to that area.

If you want to get your feet summer ready start by giving your feet a good soak in a home foot bath or even just a basin of warm water. This will help to loosen up the dead skin and overly callused areas. Once you have finished soaking them you can now use a foot file that will help to sloth off the excess skin. That skin needs to be removed in order for any type of foot cream to start repairing the existing skin and help regenerate new delicate skin on a cellular level.

The foot file I purchased is by TRIM and believe me no two files are created equal. I bought a couple from Dollarama and they are ok but the file dulls quick if you have thick dry heels like mine. Which I am happy to say are looking much better since I started this new routine, but you won't be seeing a picture of that any time soon or ever for that matter;)

The two foot balms I picked are from the Freeman line which has been around for more then 30 years and they also offer up face masks, peels and so on. They also have several other sub-brands under their brand umbrella.

The first balm is PEPPERMINT+PLUM which is infused with Shea butter, extracts of peppermint and obviously plum. It will help restore moisture to much need areas such as your heels. It also now has tea tree oil which is good for relaxing tired feet. For those that don't know tea tree oil is also a natural antifungal, which can aide in mild problems of athletes foot as well.

Then after I bought the plum one and tried it I felt it was worth getting another one as they are super inexpensive and seem to do the trick. My second pick is LEMON+SAGE.

The one difference I noticed with this one is on the package it states it is suitable for DIABETIC foot care. I am not sure but I believe its because this balm has L-Arginine in it which is an Amino Acid that helps the tone and texture of diabetic feet. It also quickens repair time of diabetic skin problems due to neuropathy.

Everything I mentioned here today can be purchased at your local Walmart
The Freeman Bare Foot balms were on sale for $2.77 and are regularly $3.50 which is still a great price for 5.3 fl. oz/150ml tube.
The foot file by TRIM is very sturdy and well made and has a dual side, one which is the rasp file and the other side is a black smoothing file. You can take the file apart to clean and empty it as well. The handle has rubber grips for total control and no loss of traction and is ergonomically designed for better filing mobility. Only $3.14
