Ok everyone,
I know a lot of people have already covered these Revlon balms probably a million times now, but I would hope that you will also enjoy hearing my thoughts and seeing the swatches I have included. Sometimes people hesitate buying an item because they don't know what to expect colour wise, we all know that frustration of "No Testers" at drugstore level. So thankfully if you can come on line to a blog that offers photos that are clear and true to colour it takes the guess work out of whether or not to buy the product.
Moving a long the two Matte balms I picked are 220 SHOWY & 205 ELUSIVE
Have a look
SHOWY
ELUSIVE
I really enjoy the matte balms, all though matte they do feel emollient on the lips, but can start to dry down after wearing them for a while so I add a dab of lip gloss on top to keep them moist just a tad longer. I love showy because it is a big bold colour, but Elusive is gorgeous for everyday use being a delicious pink nude and compliments most skin tones.
next up the lacquer balms and the colours are 110 COQUETTE & 135 PROVOCATEUR
COQUETTE
PROVOCATEUR
I think all the balms are very highly pigmented and creamy. I do feel a bit of grit from the glitter in the lacquer balms, but its not incredibly bothersome. The thing I have always liked since the introduction of the first "Just Bitten Kissable" balm stains is the very present minty taste and scent. I like products like this because it also helps to freshen breath as you wear it.
I have now revisited my kissable balm stain in the colour "Honey" since the new balms have come out, it made me recognize my neglected products sitting in drawers.
T2B- ELUSIVE, COQUETTE, SHOWY & PROVOCATEUR
If you like a product that delivers on colour, staying power and portability I highly recommend any of the Revlon balms, but I really like the "Matte Balms" best.
There are a lot of decent colour options within all three collections.
DO YOU LOVE THE REVLON BALM STAIN'S, LACQUER'S OR MATTE'S???
THANKS FOR READING
