So for starters I originally was going to start doing YouTube video's and who knows maybe in time i still will. I decided that i wanted to start blogging about cosmetics and my experience with them from the best to the very worst. These blogs will merely be my own most open and honest opinons about everything from cosmetics to hair care to anything involving the body and how we beautify it.
In watcching YouTube makeup guru's and hearing their thoughts and seeing how they do the video's and what they feel is important to mention i have compiled my own thoughts and ideas about what i want to see or read differently. There are bloggers or youtube enthusiasts that tend to fall short on certain information that i feel most people would like to know. I for one realize some people do want to see others applying their makeup and showing how to make the look work they are trying to achieve, however for some people thats not always the case. I really like hearing about the products, where they are purchased, how to find them on line, i actually appreciate detailed swatch photos over a continues running video that i may in turn have to go back through or skip to a part to pause it to get a better look at the product the person is speaking of. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of equally great video's out there as well. Alot of people usually make about a 10 minute video as some people find anything more then that to long. Everyone is different and i would rather watch a video that is slightly longer and a little more detailed instead of everything seeming rushed or the video being sped up because your in a crunch time. I enjoy reading and don't mind searching online blogs to find information on products i myself may want to try in the future.
So that being said i hope more people out there appreciate what i am saying and will look forward to the work i have planned a head of me.
What you can expect from my blog is honest sometimes heated opinions about certain products and hopefully the occasional humour mixed in around the world of cosmetics. Lots of photos of the products i mention. I truly hope to beable to address peoples questions and provide good direction.
On a final note do i consider myself an expert, well if you consider the twenty plus years i have been using cosmetics and products then yes maybe some would say. In the eyes of the industry or strangers around me probably not. However the truest test in beauty is to use it and allow your self to be the guinea pig for all that that product has in store for you and sadly it isn't always good, but other times its great.
So follow me and maybe you too will learn a thing or two even if your already an expert or a novice makeup fan we can all learn something from each other.
