MISSHA M PERFECT BB CREAM & PRIMER

***********HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY************

So to get things rolling i have decided to start by blogging about Korean cosmetics, keeping in mind these products are very new to me as i am just some white lady in search of the worlds best makeup products.
Everything pictured and mentioned here is items i purchased myself and i am not affiliated with any of the brands mentioned.

The main product i was wanting to try is the bb cream because i have heard such good things about it so my first purchase was the Missha M perfect cover bb (blemish balm).

Missha M perfect cover bb cream

Swatch of Missha bb cream #23

So i want to start by saying that the one thing i have noticed right away with all the products i have tried so far is that they are highly frangranced. For some people this may prove to be to much and you may not want to continue using the product. I on the other hand don't mind fragrance as long as it doesn't start to  irritate my skin, that has yet to be seen. The Missha bb cream is a very thick bb cream that has a heavier coverage then most others. I do like the texture and find it gives very good coverage if you suffer from acne scaring or hyper pigmented skin or in my case mild Rosacea on my cheeks and nose. The color i chose was #23 Natural Beige. In the swatch pic above it seems dark on my hand but it is more suitable for my face complexion. The one thing you will notice with a lot of bb creams is that they tend to have a grey cast to them but as you wear them you will notice that will disappear with oxidation.
Now if you want this bb cream to seem a little more luminous you can mix it with the following product which is the Missha M signature real complete blending primer
This primer has a nice smooth sheer lumi affect when applied alone or as mentioned you can mix it with the bb cream and then apply it. It is fragrant as well but not as much as the bb cream itself.
I feel these are both lovely products and hope that with time i will still be using them.
Make sure to find yourself a reputable Korean cosmetic reseller and that your not buying a fake.
The bb cream is 50ml and i paid $27 with tax at the store called "Debbie" in Pacific Mall in Markham, Ontario
the primer is 15g and was a gift with purchase along with a few samples. However on line at www.misshaus.com the full size 45g primer sells for $27.99

The top pic is the primer just to show the colour and consistency and the bottom pic shows it blended and as you can see it deposits a nice glow.

So that is my thoughts for today on the Missha products, but stay tuned as i will be blogging on Holika Holika products and you don't want to miss this.....STAY BEAUTIFUL
