COVERGIRL products

Over mother's day I was gifted some money from my husband to go do some shopping and of course the bulk of it was cosmetics.

So today is some CoverGirl items I picked up on the week-end and thought I would share them with you all.

As I was walking around "Shopper's Drug Mart" I noticed a small display for a mineral bronzer so I took a look and I am glad I did. I already had another bronzer in hand by Quo but it actually cost more and you got a lot less, so I put it back and opted to try this one out. CoverGirl Trublend mineral bronzer 435 GOLDEN SUNRISE a very generous 18g/.63oz for $14.99

I have only used it for two days, but in terms of the look it gives the skin its rich and beautiful and will work alone or over your favorite foundation. It is so fine milled and applies like a breeze. A little goes a long way. It really does give a sun-drenched glow to the skin and just the right amount of shimmer to make people admire your radiant skin even more. I look forward to using this over the summer month's and because there is so much product you can easily dust your chest and arms as well to amp up your sunny glow. A must try for fans of bronzer.

Next up since we are talking summer and it would seem peach tones are it for both Spring and Summer. So I purchased the Limited Edition nail polish "outlast stay brilliant in the colour CORAL SILK."It's truly the best representation of a peach colour I have seen yet. Take a look

So if this is a colour your peachy keen about get yours soon as they are limited edition and this colour seems to be selling fairly quick. It comes in 11ml/.37fl oz for about $8
I have to admit there are some products that CoverGirl has been bringing out more recently that I have been really liking the looks of. This normally is not a favorite brand of mine, but if they keep it up they just may restore my faith in them as a brand worth buying again more frequently.

I also randomly grabbed a trio of shadows because they were on sale and I liked all three colours in this mini palette. It's called MAJOR DISTRACTION the colours offered up are a pale pink, rich chocolate brown and a great companion to that chocolate colour is teal which rounds out this trio. The colours seem decently pigmented and I look forward to trying them out for my eye's of the day picture that will be posted to Instagram. All the colours have a very faint satin finish to them which is not overly noticeable unless looking very closely.

This set is part of the CoverGirl eye enhancers line and comes in a 4g/.14oz package. I got mine on sale for $5.99 they are normally about $9-10.

Hope you all enjoyed this review and keep on reading because I am busily working away on many more reviews to come to MakeUp'Asylum soon.

As the craziness continues stay tuned and.....

STAY BEAUTIFUL XO
