The item being reviewed today is Bath and Body Works men's cologne in OAK.
For those of you men out there that don't know, YES! Bath & Body does carry a handful of men's items. Which can be hit and miss, as with anything else. There are about 8 different scents to choose from which are White Citrus, Paris Blue, Dark Amber, Ocean, Twilight Woods, Noir, Citron and of course Oak. Also offered under their umbrella is C.O. Bigelow men's products as well varying from shaving to body spray's and cologne elixirs.
Moving along I bought OAK as a gift for my husband a while back and it is almost empty. My husband really liked this cologne and said he found it an appropriate scent for the cooler weather seasons, as it is very warm and spicy. Oak has a nice long lasting scent, but beware that sometimes if you wear it while doing a vigorous task it can take on a different some what unpleasant scent when mixing with your natural body sweat. Which no one wants to smell.

I somewhat liked this on my husband, but I find he suites more fresh/clean scents. For many years he wore Davidoff "COOL WATER" and that was kind of like his signature scent, which I preferred.
Oak is a very rich scent with a strong base of sandal and cedar wood. I do not smell Juniper in this scent, but the dry down brings on a warmth of the coffee and musk tones. The cologne rounds out nicely with a bourbon vanilla whiskey finish.
I would say this has many similarities to Calvin Klein "Obsession." So if your looking for an affordable dupe this just might be it.
I am seeing the bath products of Oak on the website, but not the cologne. So I am not sure if its discontinued, but you can still achieve the scent with the bath products. The Cologne may still be available in stores, so call a location near you.
