I LOVE imPRESS PRESS ON MANICURE

Hello all,

So as of late even though I love nail polish I haven't been buying it much. I realized a lot of my polishes are just sitting there and not being used enough. I find with my lifestyle I don't have the time or patients to do my nails especially with a base coat, 2-3 coats of polish, top coat and maybe even the occasional design. Which those steps would be necessary for me just so the polish would stay in place longer then a day or two. That being said I think I may have found a happy in between for a person like me. That is the imPRESS press on nails which are part of the KISS product line.

I stumbled upon a great sale as these nails normally are $10 but select designs were on clearance for $3.50 at my local drugstore. So the first set I grabbed were these ones called HOLLA. They are a sexy satin pink with a boudoir style black lace overlay. I have gotten a lot of compliments on these ones.

Then my little man wanted to get his mama something for her birthday so here is the set he picked out for me, which I am loving.

Super fierce and fun and lots of great colour this set is called LIL DRUMR GRL

This cool black and white crackle finish has a fine glitter over lay that is less apparent in the picture. This set is called SPACE CADET. These are my most recent purchase, which I got them on clearance for $3.50 at Rexall

and lastly my husband actually spotted these next ones which I am super excited to put them on in the coming days. These are limited edition for Halloween and they are called WITCHY WOMAN, which suits me perfectly LOL;P

There were about 4 other Halloween designs and I would have liked to get them all, but at regular price of $10 that adds up quick. However if you think of going and getting your nails done here in Canada that runs between $35-50 depending on where you go, so buying all those nails actually is cheaper and more fun in the grand scheme of things.

So each set consists of 24 nails and are suppose to last about a week. However for me they do not, they tend to start popping off around the third day or sooner depending on my work load. Most often that dictates how long nails or nail polish lasts on me.
So my solution which is so simple is if you really love the nails and want to wear them longer just add a dab of nail glue such as this one (if a nail pops off) and press it back on.

Kiss maximum speed nail glue which you get 3g for $4 CAD It works excellent and bonds in 3 seconds

The designs do not show any sign of wear and tear and I wore the HOLLA set for two weeks. That's including washing dishes, doing laundry, cleaning bathrooms and playing outside with my child. So with this extra step you can totally prolong the wear time of these nails if you choose.

Also make sure to throw the nail glue and extra nails in your purse if you will be out all day in case you need to do a quick repair. I love the super cute idea of the clear nail polish bottle to hold the nails.

So to me this is a great option if you don't have time for polish and you want some cool designs on your nails and like to have the versatility and not be committed for as long like you would with acrylic nails.
Also acrylic nails are very damaging to the natural nail bed and because of the sanding they do to the nail surface your nail is now porous and prone to the potential for nail fungus, especially if the nail salon does not maintain sterile equipment which you can't tell just by looking.

Hope you enjoyed checking out these fun nails and maybe you too will find some designs that you love. They also offer basics like French manicure designs and solid colours too for those not interested in being so daring.

Very festive!!! =D I was worried about the longevity of these but you are so smart for bringing up the nail glue! Nothing that a dot of glue can't fix! Hehe. Thank you for sharing this with us my love! XOXO

  2. Yes, I love the first one. So hot! But I am scared they might hurt my nails? I have pretty good nails and never use fake ones. Do you think they will get hurt from these? XOXO, Sissi http://www.beauty4free2u.com

    1. I don't find they did anything to my nails because the sticky tabs on them are not strong enough. Mind you if you have nice nails then you don't really need to do it unless you want to for a change of pace. I however as mentioned can't keep my nails looking good for long, so for a lot of reasons this works best for me.

    1. Really the adhesive that comes on them is nothing more then a two way tape type of thing so they will come off fairly easy, that's why I offered the tip about adding the glue. These are good if you like changing up your nails often. :) thanks for reading ladies
