HAVE YOU SEEN THE BEAUTIFUL NUDES FROM STUDIO MAKEUP????

Hi everyone,

Today I wanted to share with you a brand that is new to me, but I know it's been around for a while now, I just have not bought anything from the line till now. The item I am sharing with you today is called the NUDES palette which has a lot of strikingly similar colours to that of the Urban Decay Naked palette.
Lets take a look

L2R: Buff, Biscotti, Ginger, Café, Honey, Chestnut, Truffle, Graphite

As you can see unlike the UD NAKED palettes this palette only houses 8 colours as apposed to 12. So I will just give you my impression of what colours I feel this palette are most similar to from the Naked palette and you can be your own judge if you already own the Naked palette.

From L2R: Buff, Biscotti, Ginger, Café, Honey, Chestnut, Truffle, Graphite
UD NAKED Palette colours that match: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Hustle and Gunmetal

I feel these colours most closely represent the colours offered in the UD Naked palette however they are less shimmery which could be a bonus for those that don't want to much of that especially for those in their later years who are looking for a more gentle neutral palette.

I have used the Studio-Makeup palette once since I purchased it over a week ago and I feel the colour payoff is very good, slightly dusty, yet still applies buttery. I did use the eye/lip primer that came with the palette and had no issues with the product rubbing off or moving around on the eye and my shadow stayed in place for several hours. It also has a complimentary double-ended Pro Shadow Brush, which is nothing special and I would only use it if I had no other brushes on hand.
The palette offers up matte, shimmers and glitters that can easily take your look from day to night.

All in all I am very pleased with this palette, because its always fun to find a close dupe to a higher end brand and know that your still getting quality at a fraction of the cost.
This palette is a total of 9.6g of eye shadow and the primer is 1.6ml for $25

The palette says made in the U.S., but Studio-Makeup must be formulating the brand in Bologna, Italy, as that is also on the box, which you can expect the quality to be of very high standard.

SO ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO CHECK LOCAL DRUG STORES FOR INTERESTING NICHE BRANDS BECAUSE YOU MIGHT BE SURPRISED BY HOW COMPARABLE SOME OF THE BRANDS ARE TO HIGH END FAVOURITES.

LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS IF YOU THINK THIS PALETTE LOOKS EXCITING AND WORTH PURCHASING FOR THOSE WHO DON'T ALREADY HAVE A NUDE PALETTE.

THANKS AS ALWAYS FOR READING

STAY BEAUTIFUL XO

  3. This palette is absolutely beautiful and I actually brought out my Naked Palette to do a comparison to your pictures, you got this right on point my love!

I have too many neutrals in my stash but I wouldn't mind having this too lol! It's pretty sickening to think why I would want this because I have something exactly like this already, Idk... I'm relief and am happy/grateful to be doing this No Buy Challenge so I can take a step back to reflect upon what I already have and to be grateful for them.

Thank you loveeeee for joining us on this adventure/series. We got this!!! XOXO

    1. I am glad you got out your UD palette to compare and that I was on the right track because that's the feed back I was looking for, as to how close it really is. So thank you for the feed back and for reading:) Glad to be a part of NoBUYvember;P xoxo

  4. I love this palette and unlike so many others I don't have the popular one. I would much rather purchase this one over the popular one. These colors look amazing and I am glad you shared with us. But I am even more glad that you are sharing in this challenge with us. We have some great girls doing the challenge with us and I am thankful to have one more. Thanks for sharing (◕‿◕✿)

    1. More then happy to be apart of the challenge and happy to hear that I am not the only one who doesn't have the popular palettes, as I sometimes feel I am out of the loop. However I love discovering new products or uncommon products and I love my drugstore products. Thanks so much for reading love. xoxo:)

  5. I've never tried or heard of Studio Makeup before. I am loving the swatches and how similar it is to the UD shadows. I am more drawn to nude eye shadows and this would be a great dupe. Great post girl!

    1. Thanks so much, glad you agree that it is a decent dupe. I am happy to have discovered this brand which I have only seen at my local Pharma Plus, but at least you can also check out the website to see more of their products. Also at the store I tested their lipsticks and they are really nice as well.
