So today I am sharing with you two lipsticks that I won through a L'Oreal Twitter contest. I won at the end of August but did not receive my lipsticks till early October. I actually one three, but one colour I already had which I have reviewed before. That being said I am only sharing the two new ones to my collection.

The first colour is 260 RASPBERRY RUSH which is a really bright red and looks insane in the tube as well as on the lip

Then on the lighter side is 165 TICKLED PINK which is just a soft gentle pink with a very pale purple undertone to it, at least in the tube any way. I prefer this colour because it's more wearable for everyday use, but the red can be fun and really jazz up a look.
I like L'Oreal lipsticks and my current go to lippy is from the "Collection Privee" if you haven't seen those lipsticks its a must, all though I know they are limited edition. I highly recommend them.
These colours are ok, but I am not over thee moon about them. The one thing I wish L'Oreal would work on changing is the scent in there lipsticks, sometimes it drives me crazy.

These look to be beautiful lippies! I'm sorry you're not over the moon with them. I have ONE Loreal lippie and that's in Ballerina Shoes!!! *wink* I just recently received this precious gem from a dear friend of mine and I can't wait to use it! I wanted to use it this past weekend but we ended up not going anywhere. I may just put it on just because! Lol!
ReplyDeleteI took a whiff of the scent but do not mind it??? It's quite pleasant to me lol. I don't know how long the scent lasts on the lips??? I'll get back to you on this because I don't like a scent to last too long on my face because my nose is sensitive and then I get headaches easily if the smell is too strong.

Very cool that you won them. Sorry your not in love with them, but those colors look very nice. I have a few L'Oréal lip products, but to me all lipstick smells the same. Maybe my nose is broken haha!

ReplyDeleteYay for winning. Boo for mediocrity. I like tickled pink but I couldn't wear raspberry rush. It's too bold for my super fair skin. I am not crazy about L'Oreal lipstick as I only have one and I have a lot of lipstick. Thanks for sharing because I enjoyed reading it. (◕‿◕✿)

ReplyDeleteI love the tickled pink lippie. Sorry that you weren't in love with them. I have never purchased L'oreal lipsticks. I am going to have to give the Privee collection a try. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI have some other pinks from the Pink Collection that I think are even better. I believe I blogged them as well quite a while back if you want to check that post out as well.
