THE COLOR WORK SHOP "BESAME" LIP GIFT SET

This lip color gift set is by THE COLOR WORKSHOP, every year I see these types of sets appearing in Walmart, so this year I thought I would give it a try and see if its worth it. So the lip set consists of 5 lip crayons and 2 lip glosses.

The package opens like a story book and on the inside cover gives a quick blurb about the contents of the box.

L2R- Lavender, bubble gum pink, orange red, dark pink and coral. This is not the names I just wanted to give you some idea what the selections are because they are nameless.

The gloss on top is a peachy pink and the bottom is obviously a hot pink

These first two swatches are pretty weak in colour payoff which is the lavender and bubble gum pink

These two shades have better pigmentation but if your lips are dry it really shows with these

This last colour in the lip crayons is my favorite, it has that pretty coral shimmer finish that reflects nicely in the light.

The two glosses are really good colours, but I do find them slightly stickier then I prefer, they are useable though, and definitely not the worst I have tried.

I think this makes a great inexpensive gift for someone who is a fan of makeup, especially if you need a gift for a "Secret Santa" because its only $9 and the presentation of it is charming.

HAVE YOU EVER PURCHASED ANY SETS LIKE THESE BY COLOR WORKSHOP FOR CHRISTMAS FOR YOURSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE??? WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?

THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT ASYLUMER'S

XOXO

  1. I always see little sets like this, but I've never purchased any. They are actually pretty decent looking, I wish the lavender shade was more pigmented though. Great review love! <3

    1. I have all these new items and have had very little time to enjoy any of it as of yet. I believe on boxing day here in Canada they went down to $4 for that set. I probably should have waited lol
