ESSENCE METAL GLAM EYESHADOW (LIMITED EDITION)

Hi all,

Have you caught a glimpse of the new limited edition Essence "Metal Glam" collection. There are several products to choose from such as eyeshadow, lipgloss, nail polish, highlighter, cream blush, nail stickers and nail jewels.
For me personally I could have bought a few different things in the collection, but opted to keep it simple and only bought the eyeshadow's because they are what really spoke to me. I love eyeshadow that has any type of foil or metallic finish so this was in the bag.
TAKE A LOOK AT ALL 3 COLOURS TOGETHER (there is a fourth colour, but that was not at my store, it is silver, which I don't need anyway.)

STEEL-ING THE SCENE

L2R- STEEL-ING THE SCENE, PETAL TO THE METAL & GOLDEN EYE

My personal opinion is that Steel-ing the scene is the clear winner here in terms of colour payoff and the name very befitting. However I did swatch without primer of any kind. They apply nicely with little fall out and are quite buttery in texture. I love this collection of eyeshadow's and look forward to playing with these colours further.

You get 2.5g for $3 CAD each

DID YOU BUY ANY ESSENCE METAL GLAM PRODUCTS????

THANKS EVERYONE, COME BACK AGAIN SOON
XOXO:)

  1. I wish Petal To The Metal was a bit more pigmented, it looks beautiful in the pan...maybe with a primer or base. These are all lovely! Thanks for sharing Betti! <3

  2. I totally agree, just like that Lavender crayon in that Besame set I reviewed, we think alike with these purple tones. Then again that's always the weakest colour most times. Thanks for checking this out.:)

  3. I haven't seen these yet in Ulta but once I see them I know which one I'll be snatching up! I think I'll choose to leave the others as the pigmentation is a bit disappointing. Great review, once again my friend. Thanks for sharing with us!!

    1. I mentioned this in another comment, all though the other two are weaker in pigmentation, great for highlighting no less. Thanks for always swinging by:)

    1. Steel-ing the scene is clearly stealing the show. I knew everyone would favour this one, but the others all thought weak pigment wise are still great for highlighting.:) thanks for reading

  7. Just looking at the shadows in the pan, I can tell how buttery the texture would be! Ulta is too far from me and that's the only store I know that carries Essence cosmetics! Will definitely need to do an Essence haul the next time I go to Ulta. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this with us love! xoxo

    1. Hope you get to take a little run to Ulta soon then because these collections are always small and once they are gone that's it. Unless you buy on ebay;)
