SALLY HANSEN TRIPLE SHINE NAIL COLOR

Hi everyone,

Today I wanted to share a couple of Triple Shine Sally Hansen polishes that were gifted to me over the holidays. One polish is a satin finish and the other is a thick chunky glitter.

LETS LOOK AT THE TWO POLISHES SIDE BY SIDE

Make Waves- Is a gorgeous multidimensional colour that is blue based, but has many facets in different light. Colours I see when moving around the bottle of polish are green, yellow and pinky purple. There is super fine glitter dust mixed in there as well, but its not apparent unless you look really closely. The brush applicator on these polishes are very similar to that of Wet n Wilds Megalast polish, which is great because the brush covers the nail surface pretty much in one shot.

Sparks Fly- When I look at this the first thing that comes to mind is effervescent bubbles, like sparkling water. This polish has a clear blue gel base with fine silver glitter and large silver hex confetti. I think this is an amazing polish. The picture here is with 3 coats, so it is totally wearable on its own.

I think I may also try this over top "Make Waves" that will be an interesting combo.

I can't say how well these wear long term, I have not had a chance to try it out as of yet. I will hopefully update at a later time. Until then I have heard good things about the wearability of these polishes and that they definitely hold there own up against some higher end salon brands.

Just to update- I did wear "sparks fly" on New Years and it performed well for me personally, but normally you can count on glitter polish not to budge. However I have yet to try "Make Waves" and see how it works out. I have now read several mixed reviews about this line of polishes which leads me to believe no two colours in the collection are created equal. The main complaint I have heard is its not shiny enough and doesn't have good staying power. So beware when making your colour selection.

Be sure to check out this extensive collection from Sally Hansen at a store near you

HAVE YOU TRIED ANY OF THE TRIPLE SHINE POLISHES FROM SALLY HANSEN??

THANKS FOR READING XOXO:)

    1. I love the legend behind mermaids and paintings of such. Anything aquatic I am really drawn to, so I get it. Yes you do need them in your life. The glitter I out on NYE and it stayed on for 6 days (no joke). The "Make Waves" I have now tried more recently and it doesn't last long because I find it does chip easily, but I am always busy so my nails never stay nice long. However I do find this with polishes that have that finish tend to chip easier, where as cream and glitter polish have better longevity. Thanks for reading :)

  3. I had both of these in my hand earlier today at the drugstore. I was looking at Make Waves and wondering why I had to get Kelp Out in my Influenster VoxBox. I wanted the pretty one! These are absolutely stunning my friend! Gorgeous!

    1. I think "Kelp Out" is certainly not a colour for everyone, but I do like it. Make Waves is still colourful but not as loud lol. The one other colour I have been thinking about getting from the line as well is the one called "Pearly White" that is a clear base, fine glitter and iridescent mylar pieces, it looks awesome on if done well. Thanks for reading :)
