Maybelline colour whispers offer up some decent options in the balm range, but I do find some colours hit and miss, as with anything. However I feel I have some colours that are truly worthy of being in my collection.
So here we go with the three Maybelline colour Whispers I picked up, they were are special for $6.99 CAD prior to Christmas, you get 3g.
The first colour is 85 BERRY READY This is ultra rich in colour, but weightless on the lips. This colour is a true gem. If you like the Maybelline Whispers and don't have this colour yet it's a "MUST HAVE."

100 A PLUM PROSPECT- This has more purple tones to it which the photos are very true to life of what the colour is like. You'll notice to some very tiny micro fine blueish/purple glitter embedded in this particular whisper. It is not visible on the lip it just gives this particular colour more reflective quality and shine. Also you do not feel it when applied encase some of you have that concern.
Not quite as amped up as Berry Ready, but steadily still holding its own.
25 LUST FOR BLUSH- And yes! I have been "LUSTING" after this colour for a while now and was not leaving the store this time without it. A pretty in pink nude that will easily carry you through a day look and paired with a smouldering eye will take you right into an night look seamlessly.
This is the type of colour you would normally find in my bag when I do carry one because it is really easy to wear. If you love your pinkish/nudes make sure to put this on your list next.

All three colors are very pretty but I'm sure you know by now, me being the nudes/pinks fanatic that I am, Lust for Blush is definitely calling out for me! DeleteI love these lip butters! Berry Ready was one of my go-to's this last fall! I love the pigmentation! Looks like I'm going to have to pick up Lust for Blush...I love the color!

I remembered that you were loving Berry Ready and yes it is a great fall shade and yes the pigmentation is excellent especially on that one. DeleteI love most of Maybelline's Colour Whispers. I have lust for blush and I absolutely adore it. I do find that with these I have to moisturize my lips well as the tend to sit in the creases of my lips. I like the look of Plum Prospect ....gorgeous!

I have noticed that with varying lip butters and the balm crayons some do settle in lines or show up the dry flakey skin on my lips if I don't exfoliate them constantly. Glad to to hear you love "Lust For Blush" as much as I do. Thanks for reading Keisha and have a great week-end:)
DeleteI haven't tried the Color Whispers yet, but I'm adding A Plum Prospect to my list. I don't know why, but I've been obsessing over purple-y lips lately.

If you like purples you must check out some of the colour sensational lipsticks from Maybelline, they have some pretty intense purple toned lippies, unless you already have some.
