NEW PHYSICIANS FORMULA PRODUCTS FOR 2014

Items Sent from PR

I remember nearing the end of last year I heard some buzz about some new items coming out for 2014 through Physicians Formula. Once I got my first sneak peek I knew there were items I needed in my life upon their release.

Today I will be showing you two products that were sent to me courtesy of Physicians Formula
I will be doing a separate review for another new PF item that I purchased myself because it needs it's own time in the spot light:)

POWDER PALETTE MULTI-COLOURED CUSTOM BRONZER
This is the first of it's kind that will compliment your hair colour and skin tone. As PF says "for an ultra-glam BOMBSHELL glow!"

"This bronzer is more sheer once blended out with a soft luminous finish." This is a more gentle bronzer that gives your skin a more radiant glow as appose to a deepened tan.

The real bonus with this bronzer is that its baked!!!! What does that mean for you???? It means you can use it wet or dry

When used dry you will achieve the sheer, sunkissed glow
When used wet expect that ultra glam party bronzed skin, and it boosts the staying power

This palette comes in two shades Blondes or Brunettes and retail for $19.99 CAD
Other benefits of this product are hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, fragrance, paraben, gluten, and oil free. Dermatologist approved for all skin types
SUPER CC+ COLOUR CORRECTION + CARE POWDER
All the following details are straight from Physicians Formula so here is the details on this product
"A flawless, youthful-looking complexion is as easy as ABC! Super CC+ is the 1st ever makeup+skincare hybrid CC+ powder to offer colour correction + care in one step."

This is the list of things that are promised to be improved with the use of this Super CC age spots, dark circles, blemishes, dullness, uneven skin tone, redness, dark shadows, discoloration, fine lines, wrinkles, signs of fatigue.
Also here are some further benefits
Interference Pearl Pigments designed for invisible skin correction, provide transparent coverage without a masklike effect.
Yellow corrects blue imperfections and warms skin tone
Green tones down redness
Pink brightens and illuminates

Anti-Aging properties
Renovage-fights against functional and structural signs of aging such as dehydration, age spots, compromised barrier, function, wrinkles, enlarged pores and redness.
Lipobrite-brightens five times more than kojic acid
Alpha mixt mm- mild AHAs for a line smoothing effect
Vitamin C- to support healthy collagen and hydration levels for a brighter and younger looking complexion.
Most Physicians Formula compacts come with mirrors and a brush in a compartment in the bottom of the compact.
For some people the only draw back is this only comes in the one shade which is light/medium
$19.99 CAD
So I definitely like the bronzer and the feature that it can be used wet or dry.
The Super CC+ corrector I need more time to use. I see that it does make a difference when applied over makeup or even to the bare face. I just think I have to find the right brush to apply it with because it seems like I am over doing it, even if I tap the excess off the brush. It is extremely soft and you do not need a lot and your brush will pick up tons if you press or swirl it to much in the pan.
So that's it for today I hope you have enjoyed a closer look at these two new products from Physicians Formula and be sure to check out more from them online or in stores.
Thanks for reading
xoxo:)

  1. WOW! A Super CC?!?!?! Now THAT's pretty awesome. I think PF just started a new trend. I wonder who else is working on formulating their super CC's?! hehe! First the BB's, now the CC's. Sorry love, forgive me. I made a second cup of coffee and so I'm just bouncing off the walls hahaha!

Lemme back track real quick! That bronzer is sooooo pretty!!! I have never used a bronzer wet.... Now I'm curious to give that a try! (When I do try this method, I will keep you inform =) )

As for the picking up product issue for the CC powder.... have you tried a baby kabuki brush love? Maybe that will be small enough to pick up just enough product? Hmmm... I'm sorry you're having a bit of an issue with that. Please keep us updated on how you fixed it!

I enjoyed reading this very much. Thank you love for sharing this with us! XOXO

    1. This post made me laugh. I find it funny that companies had the bb, then cc, now a super cc, but whatever happen to AA cream....oh wait! that might be taken the wrong way lol. Any way yeah the bronzer is super pretty, but we everything going on lately I rarely have time to really get into my products other then to test them. I think I feel a "no buy" coming up. Yeah I have started using a different brush and using the powder sparingly and its working out a lot better. Thanks so much love for reading and "no more coffee" for you;P j/k I drink a lot of coffee so I have no right to talk. xo

    1. I know I posted swatches already, but wait till you see the post on the new Shimmer Strip palette. Any one who doesn't buy that is crazy lol. I am glad your going to try some things. I just love it that they are products that are very gentle for my ridiculously sensitive skin:)

  4. I love the look of that bronzer! Bronzers are my go to, I wear them everyday... I think that I have enough to sink a ship lol. The CC powder sounds amazing and very functional! I'm heading off to Canada next week to visit my sister...I will be on the look out for it, although I may a little too dark for it, but I will check it out.
    Lovely detailed post Betti xo

    1. If you love bronzer you absolutely must try the bronze booster bronzing veil with the sun pattern embossed in the powder. I did a post on that one as well. I use it daily. It's near to perfect in my opinion. Thanks so much for reading:)

  5. I've seen the both of these in stores. The bronzer looks really promising. I love that it's baked but I'm not entire sure why you would want to use a bronzer wet. I'll have to think about that one. Physician's Formula just keeps on pushing out these new products! I'm gonna need a bigger makeup table. In thinking of all the application methods for powder I have to wonder if the method Goss recommends would be best. He says to use puffs that typically come with other powders, tap them gently into the powder and roll it across the face. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing both of these doll.

    1. Don't get me wrong the CC powder is nice its just extremely soft and finely milled, you need to use it sparingly. I have been pleased with a few of the bronzers from PF, my fave that I use every day is the Bronze Booster
Glow-Boosting Airbrushing Bronzing Veil Deluxe Edition, its beautiful to look at and blends out like a dream:) thanks for reading and commenting.

  7. I think we are going to need separate storage just for PF products soon;) I think the whole wet/dry thing with the bronzer is merely to enhance it's staying powder. I don't know why the whole wet/dry thing is so big now because I remember when I was a teenager I use to use my eyeshadows wet for doing night looks when I went out dancing. See I was already a head of my time lol:P I do remember watching Goss talk about that as well, I have been trying to remember to do that, maybe I will give that a go with this particular powder. Thanks for the reminder and commenting:)

  8. Hmm, that bronzer looks really interesting! I'm definitely going to be searching for a new one soon since I've hit major pan on my NYC Sunny bronzer - so I'm gonna look more into that one. :) Thanks for the heads up on the new products :)
