NEW BLISS SKIN CARE PRODUCTS

Hi everyone,

So a month ago I received from Bliss's pr some of their new innovations to try out. I have never tried any of the skin care line from Bliss and I have to admit it is mainly because of the price. However I am coming into review with fresh eyes and everything you read today is souly based on my own personal experience with the products. I faithfully been using them for over a month now and the only other item I have been using is my Clinique acne solution foaming cleanser. I wanted to test this with no other products interfering with how well the products do or don't work.

All items I received are full size and I will include the Canadian prices which all three products are carried at Sephora as well as Bliss spa locations and online.

So lets jump in shall we

BLISS MICRO MAGIC
spa-powered microdermabrasion treatment -$56 85g/3.0 oz

This product contains skin smoothing volcanic pumice, conditioning vitamin e and soothing aloe.
The product is intended to gently treat the appearance of dullness and surface imperfections giving you a softer more healthy looking complexion.

The key here is to gently massage micro magic on your face for a minute or less and not scrubbing the heck out of your skin, use light pressure. The volcanic pumice will do the work for you. This scrub feels like very finely ground sand and it is a relaxing light blue colour and smells minty fresh.

I use this sparingly and find I like it most for sloughing off dry skin from around my nose area. I do find my cheeks seem a little red after using this if I do my whole face, but it disappears again fairly quick. I think this product is very good I just wish it was more affordable because I would repurchase it. Mind you if your only using it once or twice a week it will last a long time, so maybe it's worth the splurge.
I definitely have seen an overall improvement with my skin surface from using this in conjunction with the other Bliss products I received.
I give this a 4 out 5 only because the price can be a set back for some

THAT'S INCREDI-'PEEL'!
Spa-strength glycolic resurfacing pads (30 pads) per box $58

So the purpose of these pads is to offer you at home spa-worthy results. No rinse peel pads that release powerful levels of exfoliating glycolic acid over time for serious skin renewal without the irritation.
These little pads are chalked full of calming ingredients like witch hazel, licorice extract and hydrating glycerin.

These pads are very wet when you take them out, but this pic is just to show the size and is a dried up one. These feel cool, soothing with a very mild sting in some spots, but nothing that is unbearable.

I personally have not seen much change with the few fine lines I do have, but I definitely feel this product has done an amazing job with an dark spots or imperfections I may have had. I feel my skin is looking a lot more even and far less stressed. It also seems that my makeup application goes on a lot smoother. I have also noticed in using all three products my skin has been having far less flare ups with breakouts and It feels more comfortable all around.

FIRM, BABY, FIRM
dual-action lifting+volumizing serum
30ml/1 fl oz. $83

First off till now I was not familiar with the scope of the Bliss line, other then their bath products and body butters, but I also was floored when I checked the price of this serum. This is probably the most luxe face product I own or will ever own for that matter.

Firm, Baby, Firm has a 5 patent technology gardenia stem cells and is an aloe based formula.

So here is what the box says this product is suppose to do for your skin

"To firm skin, you need to give it a lifted and volumized look and this unique, high-per-'firm'-ance facial serum does both

With gardenia stem cells, cell targeting peptides and phyto-retinoids, the advance formula helps boost collagen and elasticity for an instant and long term lifting effect, plump hollow areas from the inside out, and correct and prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

All of these powerful ingredients are packed into a concentrated aloe base featuring soothing lavender and patented irritation-reducing and permeation enhancing technologies. Prepare to become a "Firm" believer!

I apply this product at night after cleansing my skin and in the morning as well, which is what is recommended, a few drops goes a long way. The product is in a convenient pump so you minimize waste or overuse. This is a light weight fluid serum. It absorbs easily into the skin and there is no irritating residue left behind and no colour. I have to admit I have never truly believed in products like this that claim to give a lifted look to the face, BUT I have been proven wrong. My skin especially around my cheeks feels firmer and more plump. I literally feel that it does seem to make your skin look younger some how. I don't know exactly what the magic is behind this product, but IT WORKS. I am enjoying the results I am seeing over this past month and if you are within the budget to buy this I highly recommend it. Be aware this does have a noticeable lavender scent to it, I love it, but some people may not.

I have to admit I walked into testing these products with no expectations, but I am very pleasantly surprised. I feel a little dismay because I am down to 4 of the glycolic pads and because the serum is only 30ml I imagine it will be gone soon as well. I really don't know if I can justify spending $160 for two skincare products that I know will only cover me for about a month, but it will certainly be hard to say good-bye to products that have proven their effectiveness, especially for the challenges I often face with my skin care regime *sigh*

I HOPE YOU ALL FOUND THIS POST VERY HELPFUL AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE TRIED FROM BLISS????

    1. I have also used several of their body butters/lotions in the past and I love them too. If you ever have the chance to try anything I recommend it, if you don't mind the price points that is, which is the biggest draw back for me.
      thanks for reading:) xo

  2. Great review Betti! I think the first product would work well on my nose too. I have such combination skins its annoying. My forehead and nose are super oily and my cheeks are normal/dry but my nose also gets dry in spots and I would def need something the the volcanic pumice to buff away the nasty dead skin. Do you ever have this problem? You nose is drying looking when you apply makeup but really oily for the rest of the day/night?

    1. I totally agree and yes I have that exact same problem which is why I have been enjoying this product so much, but don't over use it either if you do get it just 1-2 times a week. At first it won't seem its helping but after a month you really see the benfits of It working, at least I have anyway. thanks for reading love xo:)

  3. I like the sound of the Micro Magic..its sounds so refreshing and minty. The price is way up there...that's my only concern. The Firm Baby Firm also interests me....these days firming the skin is very important to me..now that I'm getting older.

    Nice review Betti

    1. I feel very fortunate to have been able to receive these products because the price is the only big down side for me personally. If it was more affordable I would buy all three products continually because I like them that much. I actually have a lot of the micro magic left, very little of the firm baby firm and no more glycolic wipes they were done last week *sigh*. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day Keisha xo:)

    1. They are really wonderful and worked perfectly for my particular skin problems. The price tag is way to high for me to buy regularly. I would have to get them if there is ever a sale or as a gift for a special occasion. I know you love your skin care products Sissi, I think you have to take care of your skin in order for your makeup to work its best as well. Thanks for reading and commenting, always appreciated :) xo
