VIOLENT LIPS RAINBOW LIP APPLIQUES

Welcome back everyone,

So today I will be sharing my thoughts on a product sent to me by Nail Polish Canada for review. The product is Violent Lips these are basically lips tattoos and they are applied the same way children's play tattoo's go on, except there is some work involved.

YOU CAN CHECK OUT THE FULL LINE OF VIOLENT LIPS ON THEIR DIRECT WEBSITE  HERE

If you decide you want to purchase Violent Lips you can do so by shopping at Nail Polish Canada for them by clicking here

So lets take a look at some pictures of the product itself

Violent Lips come packaged in a slim cardboard sleeve and come 3 appliques to a pack, which i do feel is necessary because the top lip applique can be especially tricky and i had to reapply a second one to get it applied evenly and correctly.
There is a full set of instructions to guide you through the application process all  though following the instructions and having it come out perfectly are two very different things. You also should know that you do have to cut the ends and trim them to have it fit to your lip appropriately.
You then press it on your lip and wet the backing with water like i said kids tattoos and really get it wet to get a good overall application.

This is the card that comes with Violent Lips showing a dozen other designs available and when flipped over has the instructions.

Here is the Earth Day Look i created using the Rainbow Violent Lips

If you look closely the applique did not adhere well on the bottom (my left)
I would say it turned out ok considering i have never used this product, but does have it flaws.

My overall feelings about Violent Lips is that they are a fun product for an event, or an outlandish party, but not recommended in my opinion for everyday use. You can really tell you are wearing an applique if you were to see my lips in person, because the tattoo drys and pulls the lips and shows the lines in your lips. I don't find this product incredibly practical, but the look is fun no less.

Here is where i do have an issue with this product. It recommends saturating the lip with mineral or baby oil and leave it on for 60-90 seconds to remove the appliques. I will tell you right now it takes a lot more elbow grease and effort then a mere 90 seconds to get these off. I used baby oil and coconut oil and makeup remover and my lips were quite irritated after and i still saw tiny bits left behind.
So I do believe these will easily stay on for several hours. I did drink  with these on and had no issue, but i did not try eating with.

Would I personally purchase this product in the future??? Probably not

It was a fun experience trying them out, but this product is not for me.

One pack has 3 sets of lip appliques and are $10 CAD

HAVE YOU EVER TRIED VIOLENT LIPS, IF NOT WOULD YOU???

THANKS FOR READING AND HAVE AN AWESOME DAY

XOXO:)
