O.P.I BOND GIRLS LIQUID SAND IN JINX, KLEANCOLOR AND CHINA GLAZE..............

Good day everyone,

So today I thought I would share with you all 3 new nail polishes I purchased. These are higher end brands and may not be suitable for everyone's budget. However they are certainly far from being off the rocker expensive. Occasionally I feel its fine to stray away from my usual $2-3 range and buy the brands that are $8-12. I say this because I feel if your just starting out with nail polish it's simply a waste to spend that kind of money regularly especially if you don't wear nail polish everyday, which I don't. If you do want to purchase higher end brands make sure you buy colors that are always a favorite year after year and not just the current fad of the moment. A true garnet red is one color you'll be sure to appreciate for many years to come and can be used on several occasions or just because you love red.

Getting in to it I will start with a mini bottle of Klean Color. I opted for the mini because it is a glitter and if you have read my previous blogs you will know that I am not a huge fan of glitter polish because it is trying to get off. However I thought this particular glitter would accent another color nicely that I will be showing you shortly. I think it will look really good as an overlay color.

So this bottle is only 0.17fl oz/5ml it was suppose to be 1.99 but to my disappointment I looked at the receipt when I got home and was charged 3.99, which is not worth it for a mini. Any way as mentioned this is a glitter its called CHUNKY HOLO PURPLE.
So you will notice I will be doing swatches differently as I will be using a nail wheel from here on because it was becoming a pain doing my own nails all the different colors just to show in pictures. Plus it photographs better at least to me.

So as you can see this nail color has a translucent purple gel base and the glitter is a mix of pinkie orange glitter, but it cast as a blue tone in the middle picture of the nail.
Like I said I will only be using this as an overlay so buying a mini is the most practical idea as it really won't be used often. Gorgeous color no less.

So the next color is the one which I will use the glitter with and that is China Glaze in PURPLE PANIC this color is absolutely amazing however I find it did not photograph as well as I would have liked it. It does dry to a matte finish which I wasn't thrilled about because I honestly feel that a neon pink like this should actually dry to a high shine as it stands out even more. Its a good thing I bought the glitter because I think it will really help to step it up.

I find both pictures do not do this color justice. This is a must see color in person. So the next time your at a store near you that sells "China Glaze" be sure to check out this impressive pink.

Now I know prices vary from place to place but I purchased this one for 6.50. It is a standard size bottle .5fl oz/14ml.

I stated earlier I don't wear nail polish all the time, but there are the times I scope out a color in the O.P.I. line that I just can't pass up and this was that moment.
So for some of you that don't know O.P.I. has brought out a line called "Liquid Sand" basically its a very rough textured nail polish with a grit to it reminiscent to obviously "sand."
I actually did not realize this nail polish was like this till I got it home even though there is a freaking tag right on it DUH!. I think I just became starry eyed over the color and didn't bother to read the bottle. That being said thank god the color is amazing enough and the coverage is unparalleled and I am actually really loving this type of polish.
O.P.I does give you pretty much a flawless finish so yes it is 12 dollars, but it is worth every penny.
So check out the new liquid sands collection soon.

My color pick is JINX .5fl oz/15ml

So in the top picture Jinx has photographed with a reddish tone, but when you look at the ones with the flash you see how very orange it is. Its such a beautiful coral orange color perfect for summer with a gold and orange glitter lacing through out. Keep in mine this does dry to a textured matte finish. I imagine its staying power is quite good. I will follow up at a later time.

One last item I have been on the hunt for is a good quality nail polish remover and I now have found my nail polishes new bff it is O.P.I expert touch lacquer remover. This remover is amazing and you don't need much to get the polish right off even the harder glitters. Apparently this is a professional formula and will nourish and hydrate your cuticles as well. There are various sizes available for this remover from a tiny bottle right up to a small jug. I feel buying a jug is the most cost effective. However because I have never tried it I settled on the 4fl oz/120ml and that was 6.50.

****PLEASE REMEMBER TO OPEN A WINDOW OR BE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA WHEN USING NAIL POLISH AND REMOVERS IF YOU DON'T GO TO A SALON. ESPECIALLY IF YOUR DOING YOUR NAILS AROUND CHILDREN*****

So that rounds out my review for today and I hope you all like the new pics with the nail wheel and I look forward to sharing more amazing polish colors with you
