MISSHA HAUL AND FIRST IMPRESSION

So today for you all I have a Missha haul of items I purchased over a month ago.

This will more or less showcase the items and give you my first thoughts as I have tried everything a few times now.

SIGNATURE EXTREME COVER CONCEALER-No.21
 $16.99 CAD 10g
This concealer is amazing, it is heavier, but blends out fantastic and is very creamy. I love the flawless canvas it creates on my eyelids prior to makeup application. At first in the jar the colour did not seem correct for me, but once applied it adjusts well with my skin tone and does a good job cancelling out any redness. It works really well for covering blemishes or dark spots. There is a bold scent to this product and at first I thought it would be irritating especially around the eyes, but I have not encountered any issues and that says a lot because I am super sensitive to scent and reaction on my skin.

This concealer also comes with a mini concealer brush to help blend out the product.
I am really enjoying this product and because you can use it sparingly and you get 10g it will last quite a long time. I would definitely repurchase this product. I would not recommend this product for people with very crepey eyelid skin or any flakey skin around the eye area. I do find if I accidently over apply it does crease, but I smooth it out more and its fine.
My eyelids are normal to oily
I picked no.21 as I imagine its the lighter of the two offerings

SIGNATURE VELVET ART SHADOW #4- BROWN COMBINATION
$21.00 7g
This quad of shadows is stunning and the product itself creates a lovely neutral eye look which is often favoured by most people for day or night wear. The overall esthetics of the box and the compact is very pleasing. The compact all though plastic feels heavy and good quality in your hand and the design on the compact lid is gorgeous. Inside is a mirror, 4 shadows and a small useless applicator. These are all highly shimmered colours with no matte option. So if your not a fan of shimmer/glitter then this is not for you.

I am happy with the quality of these eyeshadows, however to be honest I don't think they are worth $21, but when I have worn them the do stay in place and don't budge or smudge, and the colours are super pretty and flattering for many.

SHIMMER WAVE BLUSHER 1- PINK WAVE
$23.99 13g
This blush is visually stunning. The mix of purple, dark and light pink and peachy gold tone powder all in a beautiful wave like pattern within the compact. Again the compact on this is jaw droppingly gorgeous and these are items you will want to leave on your vanity because they are such a treat to look at. Again a solid well made compact inside is a mirror and a small decent brush similar to the ones in the Physicians Formula powder compacts. I would say you can use this as blush or a highlight with a gentle pink undertone, but is quite buildable and can get very pink, very fast, so be careful and build slowly. This blush is very shimmery and illuminating. I like it, but think that it can get a bit much if your not careful and probably best suited for a night out look.

M PRISM BRONZING POWDER- SHIMMER ROSEGOLD
$19.99 12g
Again this is quite shimmery, but not as much as the blush, but I am beginning to think I would have found the matte bronzer more useful over all and may eventually get that too. I think initially I was sold on the whole "rosegold" concept.

Again really lovely packaging and inside a mirror and small flat kabuki type brush for ease of application on the go or during travel.

This has a nice silky texture to it and blends out really well. I think this will be very complimentary come the summer time.

SIGNATURE GLAM ART ROUGE- SPK101
$17.99 3.5g
These lipsticks are extremely soothing to the lips and literally start to melt into your lips upon application. Glam art rouge lipsticks are powered with hyaluronic acid and give the lips the appearance of being very smooth. The colours are high shine but have great full opacity coverage. It claims to last up to 12 hours, but I never wear lipstick long enough in a day to confirm this claim true or not. There are about a dozen colour options to choose from. The colour I picked was my second choice and its a peachy coral tone. My first choice was a deep rich pink, but has been sold out for quite some time now.

The lipstick glides on effortlessly with no drag and the tube is so classy and elegant. This lipstick almost boarders being like a lipgloss as well.

So the first wave blusher I ordered was so broken and damaged that Missha had to send me a new one, but as a courtesy they also sent this mini 5 colour lip palette which I thought was a nice gesture.

All very nice peachy, pink and coral tones and apply it with a finger tip. These are creamy and have good colour payoff. Just a nice little extra to throw in your bag if your in a hurry and want some colour.

and then anytime you order you can expect samples as well and these are the items I got in my parcel

Top- A sample box of 10 Missha cotton squares
L2R- Missha M booster bb starter, Super Aqua refreshing cleansing foam & Super Aqua ultra water-full cream.

SO THAT CONCLUDES MY VERY LONG MISSHA OVER VIEW

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITES???

THANKS FOR READING AND HAVE AN AWESOME DAY XOXO:)

  1. Wow! I'm so impressed with this line! I have never heard of it before but I'm glad I know about it now. The packaging is amazing and the quality of the products look great too. My favorites of the bunch are the concealer/primer, the blush, and the lipstick. Thanks for sharing this brand with me!

    1. That blush is too beautiful for words to the point I have barely used it because I don't want to ruin it lol. If you ever order anything get it directly from the Missha website as there is a really big problem with fakes out there and you never know what the heck is in the product then. I am fortunate that I live close to an area where I can go to popular Korean brand stores like Tony Moly, Holika Holika, The Face Shop and of course Missha. I have really been interested in Korean cosmetics now for about two years. Check out the website Sasa.com they have a ton of cool stuff to discover, Musings of a Muse turned me on to this site and I read about products on there quite often. Enjoy:)

  2. Great products and the packaging is really eye catching...I love it! The concealer sounds amazing and I love the looks of the blush and bronzer. The blush seems as if it would make a great highlighter also. Thanks for bringing this brand to my attention, I've never heard of it before.

    Lovely review Betti!

    1. I imagine some people will feel the concealer is to thick, but I personally don't mind it and it really does work. Maybe I will do an update to this post showing my one eye without it and the other with so you all can see the BIG difference. Glad you enjoyed this post and yes Missha is a lovely Korean brand and I enjoy them very much. I love the time and thought they put into everything even down to the beautiful boxes each item came in as well. thanks Keisha xo
