MISSHA SUPER AQUA CELL RENEW SNAIL MOISTURIZER & TIME REVOLUTION TREATMENT ESSENCE

Well it's been a very long time, but here I am with a brand new Missha review for you all. Before we start I would like to thank Missha Canada for sending these two items out for review purpose. I am happy to have had the opportunity to try these products and give your my thoughts on them today.

I used the seven day supply of Time Revolution the week that I received the products and after I used it up I started to use the Snail moisturizer. So let's get into the review.

Time Revolution- The First Treatment Essence
Full size is 150ml $49.99 CAD

Here is the claims of this product taken from Missha's website

-It controls turnover of skin, lifting radiance level for glowing and clear skin
-It is a highly concentrated essential essence applying at the first step of skin care, firming foundation of skin and helping the next step of skin care well absorbed.
-Provides 8 benefits of soothing, smoothing, balancing sebum level, moisturizing, improving skin tone, firming, wrinkle repair and boosting.

This essence has a nice emollient feel with a gentle scent. The first thing I noticed is that it does have a soothing effect when tapped into the skin. However because this was only a seven day supply I do feel that my observations of it's results are inconclusive. I say this only because I feel that any results I may have noticed were extremely minor within one week of use. Also anyone who uses skin care knows that it takes at least one  month to see the true effectiveness of a product, The experience I had with Time Revolution is that I did notice is my face felt smoother, but I feel my skin in the first week was purging debris and I noticed several small white heads appear in around the nose and cheek area. So I am not sure if that is do to an ingredient that does not agree with me or Time Revolution is working on getting everything out of the skin. I am not a person that normally gets a lot of white heads, I more frequently get blackheads on my nose area. I would be curious to see the results with Time Revolution after prolonged use and also hear other people's experience with this product.

Since the amount of product I had to work with was limited to a week I give this 3 out 5

SUPER AQUA- CELL RENEW SNAIL ESSENTIAL MOISTURIZER
FULL SIZE IS 130ML FOR $29.99

What SNAIL MOISTURIZER you say! Well before you turn and run for the hills at the idea of snail slime on your face, hear me out. I am all for trying new things in the name of beauty especially if it delivers on results, and this product does.

What are it's benefits? Take a look

- Snail Slime extract, providing beauty to various kinds of troubled skin such as acnescars, redness, dark and dull skin tone, decline of skin elasticity and more.
-Baobab extract at 2% actively protects the skin from dryness by increasing moisture level and activating the moisturizing energy inside the skin
-Deep Sea Water aides in soothing and moisturizing the skin
-Botanical Stem Cell extract helps keep skin clear  by intensively controlling colouring and blemishes

I received a 30ml bottle of the Super Aqua Snail moisturizer. I really enjoy this product and highly recommend it. It has a mild scent and a little goes a long way and literally feels like it creates a protective barrier on the skin when applied. I have been applying this after my cleansing routine at night before bed. I feel like everyday I wake up my skin feels more renewed and supple. I also feel this is keeping any pimples I do get at bay. The snail extract in this product is at 40% that is almost half WOW. I also noticed my skin feels firmer or more plump. Also if  I do apply this in the morning and let it sink in my skin I have noticed my foundation goes on way smoother and the finish looks a lot better. So if your on the hunt for some new skin care definitely give Missha's Super Aqua snail moisturizer a try.

I give this 5 out of 5 and would certainly repurchase this in the future.

ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT ONE THING I LOVE ABOUT SHOPPING THE MISSHA WEBSITE IS THAT ALL THE PRODUCTS HAVE A COMPLETE BREAK DOWN OF WHAT'S IN IT AND ALL OF THE BENEFITS THE PRODUCT OFFERS. CHECK OUT MISSHA CANADA HERE

HAVE YOU TRIED ANY KOREAN SKIN CARE WITH SNAIL EXTRACT? WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO USE THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT IF YOU KNEW IT HAS REAL RESULTS? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS.

Have a wonderful day everyone

MISSHA HAUL AND FIRST IMPRESSION

So today for you all I have a Missha haul of items I purchased over a month ago.

This will more or less showcase the items and give you my first thoughts as I have tried everything a few times now.

SIGNATURE EXTREME COVER CONCEALER-No.21
 $16.99 CAD 10g
This concealer is amazing, it is heavier, but blends out fantastic and is very creamy. I love the flawless canvas it creates on my eyelids prior to makeup application. At first in the jar the colour did not seem correct for me, but once applied it adjusts well with my skin tone and does a good job cancelling out any redness. It works really well for covering blemishes or dark spots. There is a bold scent to this product and at first I thought it would be irritating especially around the eyes, but I have not encountered any issues and that says a lot because I am super sensitive to scent and reaction on my skin.

This concealer also comes with a mini concealer brush to help blend out the product.
I am really enjoying this product and because you can use it sparingly and you get 10g it will last quite a long time. I would definitely repurchase this product. I would not recommend this product for people with very crepey eyelid skin or any flakey skin around the eye area. I do find if I accidently over apply it does crease, but I smooth it out more and its fine.
My eyelids are normal to oily
I picked no.21 as I imagine its the lighter of the two offerings

SIGNATURE VELVET ART SHADOW #4- BROWN COMBINATION
$21.00 7g
This quad of shadows is stunning and the product itself creates a lovely neutral eye look which is often favoured by most people for day or night wear. The overall esthetics of the box and the compact is very pleasing. The compact all though plastic feels heavy and good quality in your hand and the design on the compact lid is gorgeous. Inside is a mirror, 4 shadows and a small useless applicator. These are all highly shimmered colours with no matte option. So if your not a fan of shimmer/glitter then this is not for you.

I am happy with the quality of these eyeshadows, however to be honest I don't think they are worth $21, but when I have worn them the do stay in place and don't budge or smudge, and the colours are super pretty and flattering for many.

SHIMMER WAVE BLUSHER 1- PINK WAVE
$23.99 13g
This blush is visually stunning. The mix of purple, dark and light pink and peachy gold tone powder all in a beautiful wave like pattern within the compact. Again the compact on this is jaw droppingly gorgeous and these are items you will want to leave on your vanity because they are such a treat to look at. Again a solid well made compact inside is a mirror and a small decent brush similar to the ones in the Physicians Formula powder compacts. I would say you can use this as blush or a highlight with a gentle pink undertone, but is quite buildable and can get very pink, very fast, so be careful and build slowly. This blush is very shimmery and illuminating. I like it, but think that it can get a bit much if your not careful and probably best suited for a night out look.

M PRISM BRONZING POWDER- SHIMMER ROSEGOLD
$19.99 12g
Again this is quite shimmery, but not as much as the blush, but I am beginning to think I would have found the matte bronzer more useful over all and may eventually get that too. I think initially I was sold on the whole "rosegold" concept.

Again really lovely packaging and inside a mirror and small flat kabuki type brush for ease of application on the go or during travel.

This has a nice silky texture to it and blends out really well. I think this will be very complimentary come the summer time.

SIGNATURE GLAM ART ROUGE- SPK101
$17.99 3.5g
These lipsticks are extremely soothing to the lips and literally start to melt into your lips upon application. Glam art rouge lipsticks are powered with hyaluronic acid and give the lips the appearance of being very smooth. The colours are high shine but have great full opacity coverage. It claims to last up to 12 hours, but I never wear lipstick long enough in a day to confirm this claim true or not. There are about a dozen colour options to choose from. The colour I picked was my second choice and its a peachy coral tone. My first choice was a deep rich pink, but has been sold out for quite some time now.

The lipstick glides on effortlessly with no drag and the tube is so classy and elegant. This lipstick almost boarders being like a lipgloss as well.

So the first wave blusher I ordered was so broken and damaged that Missha had to send me a new one, but as a courtesy they also sent this mini 5 colour lip palette which I thought was a nice gesture.

All very nice peachy, pink and coral tones and apply it with a finger tip. These are creamy and have good colour payoff. Just a nice little extra to throw in your bag if your in a hurry and want some colour.

and then anytime you order you can expect samples as well and these are the items I got in my parcel

Top- A sample box of 10 Missha cotton squares
L2R- Missha M booster bb starter, Super Aqua refreshing cleansing foam & Super Aqua ultra water-full cream.

SO THAT CONCLUDES MY VERY LONG MISSHA OVER VIEW

HAVE YOU TRIED ANYTHING FROM MISSHA???
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITES???

THANKS FOR READING AND HAVE AN AWESOME DAY XOXO:)

****NoBUYvember "SHOP MY STASH" WEEK 1: FACE PRODUCTS ****

Hi everyone,

So if you have been keeping up with other blogs such as Liz over at http://myprettyobsessions.blogspot.ca/2013/11/no-buy-november-challenge-intro-to-shop.html
or Shalunya over at
http://shalunyaboyet.blogspot.ca/2013/11/girls-being-good-no-buy-november.html
Then you know that I am talking about joining along in the "No Buy November". Shalunya is essentially the one who got this clever ball rolling and I am happy to be apart of this. I also believe that Neya over at http://www.neyavbeautytalk.com/ is taking part in the challenge as well.

So as mentioned by Shalunya this month long "No Buy" will allow all of us who are taking part to get in touch with some of our rather neglected makeup items in our stash, that all deserve some attention. Also give to others and worrying less about material items, which I am perfectly satisfied in doing. The 4 weeks have been broken up in to specific areas of interest. So with that this post will focus specifically on "The Face". Oddly enough I am already ahead of the game because I noticed now that the colder weather has arrived I was already starting to reach for some items that have been on the back burner and now are finally getting some love again. I find I have been really into some of my Korean cosmetics as of late, so lets take a look.

I have been reaching for my MISSHA M PERFECT COVER BB CREAM partnered with the MISSHA M SIGNATURE REAL COMPLETE BLENDING PRIMER both products are amazing. The bb cream is a true Asian bb cream, so it totally lives up to it's promises and if you know anything about the Missha brand that speaks for it self. I bought these items way back in March and I did use it a ton in the beginning, but when you own and buy a lot of makeup it quickly gets lost in the pile.

The bb cream I use from Missha is No.23 natural beige
Missha M Perfcet BB cream is $24.50 in CAD and the Primer was a free gift
(Just beware that Missha products do tend to have a strong scent, but it did not irritate my super sensitive skin which was a surprise and it dissipates as you wear it)

Then to set my bb cream I do a light pressing of this luxurious finely milled powder from Holika Holika called BABY BLOOM. This powder creates a transparent foggy veil over the skin to make you look luminous and bright. The product is created with a "Sebum Capture Network" that maintains your makeup all day. I have to admit I was very skeptical about buying this powder because that's a lot to promise and it has a slight scent to it that I was worried would bother my skin and its expensive as well. However it does have an excellent SPF of 25 to protect your skin in any season.

You get 25g for $26

Even the container is a beautiful item to have on your vanity and comes with a very well made puff that shows signs of quality, there is also a sifter which I took off to photograph the powder.

Last up is not a Korean item, but a familiar item to those makeup junkies out there and that is NYX single pan blush in the colour 25 PINCHED
I generally am not a fan of blush all the time, but when the right colour comes a long it is truly a love affair. Pinched has often been compared as being a very good dupe to NARS Orgasm. I have looked at pictures of the two products side by side and they are extremely close. I find what makes this blush so appealing is that sensual golden undertone it leaves behind on the skin.

I feel this is the type of blush that is suitable for just about anyone and I imagine the gold sheen would look amazing on girls of colour as it would emphasis the cheek bone and the colour it self if built up will be super sassy. This is a very versatile blush that makes for an amazing eyeshadow as well.

So I am glad to have shopped my stash and rediscovered my hidden gems and hope you all enjoyed seeing them as well.

LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS IF YOU HAVE BEEN REACHING FOR ANY FACE PRODUCTS THAT SEEM TO HAVE GOTTEN LOST IN THE MIX

Thanks everyone for reading and have a great day:)

STAY BEAUTIFUL XO
