HI TO ALL,
Today is just a random review of some odd ball items I have picked up a long the way and wanted to share.
So after trying three other Maybelline color tattoo's I had hope to snag two of the limited edition one's which would have been "Waves Of White" and "Icy Mint," but to no avail I have not been able to locate them near me. So the regular colours were on sale for $4.99 at SHOPPERS DRUG MART so I just grabbed the colour EDGY EMERALD. It too is also a very nice colour but also it's been out for a while now and I am sure many other people have already reviewed it.

I do see the green tones, but when I think emerald, I think like the Emerald City in the "Wizard of OZ", to me this colour is more a bluish/green, not a true green. The birthstone Emerald is another good example, which is what also comes to mind. I do think this will easily fit in with many of the eyeshadows I already have. I do like using the colour tattoo's alone or as a base to amp up other shadows. Its a very good multi-use product and I recommend it for people who don't have a lot of time for makeup but want a splash of colour on the lid before heading out. .14oz/4g
***JUST A QUICK UPDATE JULY 15****
I find out of all the color tattoo's I have bought this one is least favorable as it tends to apply poorly and has a drier consistency then any of the other's and it does glide on nice and creamy.

The next item is a new nail polish colour to the GOSH cosmetics line. The nail polishes are now called "OH MY GOSH" and the colour I chose is OCEAN CLUB. This is a chunky glitter that is good for top coats over your favorite blue or green nail polish. It has a mix of true green and rich blue glitter and is very fun for more aquatic takes on summer polish.
The bottles are only $4 but you only get 5ml so they are mini size.
The prepack that was available at my SHOPPERS DRUG MART had about 10-12 different colours to choose from.
If you'd like to see a pic of it on just click the INSTAGRAM tab on the side bar. The pic shows what it looks like on top of a light blue metallic polish. Quite a nice combo.
Lastly I am new to the world of this nail stamping craze and I am not always the most patient person, so I don't know if this will be a good marriage. However I thought I would start small, so I got a mini set by Essence. The kit came with the scraping tool, a metal disk with several designs on it and the rubber stamper.
I say for the price this is a decent fun little kit. Just make sure to peel the cover off the metal plate, because like a loser I thought it wasn't working and was ready to take it back, only to realize it was all because there is a thin film protecting the plate. So remember PEEL then PLAY lol.
I haven't done a full set of nails with this yet as I have been busy with many other things and don't always have the time. So if you too are new to the world of nail stamping then get this, its a good starting point for novice nail stampers. I see so many beautiful looks on Instagram, but just never seem to find the time to try it out myself.
So if your NEW to nail stamping as well I will give you a quick 101 on what you do.
1. Peel plastic cover off metal disk;)
2. Decide which design you want to use
3. Put a generous drop/s of nail polish on that design
4. Scrape the excess off with the scraping tool
5. Take rubber stamp and press down firmly to pick up image on stamp
6. Start at the side of the nail and sort of press and roll to the other side, but don't drag or the image will smudge. When you pick up the stamp the image should be nicely applied on the nail.
So that's the easiest way I can explain how to do nail stamping. Keep in mind you can do all your nails or even just an accent nail. Just have fun with it.
