NEW MUFE- MAKE UP FOR EVER ARTIST SHADOW

Welcome back all,

I hope everyone is enjoying the fall season so far, and with that make up lover's all over rejoice as many new collections land in stores and many drugstore shelves get their relines.

I am happy to bring to you today my thoughts on the new Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows. Two lovely colour's were sent to me for review purpose and I am forever grateful to still be occasionally reviewing for Make Up For Ever two years after I connected with them.

So let's get this on shall we!

In celebration of Make Up For Ever's 30th anniversary comes the powerful show stopping launch of the ultimate 210 highly pigmented eye shadows. If you love innovative products with effortless blendability and captivating colour pay off then keep reading.

Creative director Dany Sanz may have taken a full three years to bring this collection to life, but for make up artists, guru's, and novice it's definitely been worth the wait. The shadows have a breakthrough technology know as PIGMENT ATOMIZATION which put in simple terms means you will be getting the highest pigmentation on the market , maximizing colour by 88%. Water-blend technology is what creates this superior blendable product making application easier and cuts back on how long you have to blend.

Within this gorgeous range the numbering system is simple, based on finish and colour family within the colour wheel. You can expect to find matte, satin, iridescent and diamond finishes.
The best part is the shadows are completely customizable with options to purchase singles, duo's or a trio. What ever best fits your needs at a moments notice.

Lets take a closer look at the performance of these shadows, the two colours that were sent out to me are both from the blue family one is an Iridescent and the other Satin.

L2R- I-210 Light Turquoise (Iridescent)
S-226 Abyssal Blue (Satin)

The light turquoise has such a beautiful finish, which you will see in a moment. It is a beautiful icy tone that will work nicely on the center of the lid or you can even take it up a notch and do a one colour eye look and wing out that liner.

NO PRIMER WOW

Now believe me I think this shade is lovely, but my heart is in it for this Abyssal Blue. As soon as I swatched this beauty it made me that much more excited for fall. This is leaning indigo and is like that perfectly dyed pair of denim jeans, check it out!

Top swatch is no primer and this pic is with primer

I have to admit I was very excited to do an eye look to add to this post, but sadly I have been to darn sick, that is my only big complaint for this time of year is all the flu and sickies walking around hacking and sneezing on everything. Any way the texture of these shadows is phenomenal like "BUTTAH baby"

I find especially with blues they tend to be the most rich eyeshadows in collections and offer some of the best colour payoff. I love playing these shades of blue off my brown eyes because they compliment each other so seamlessly like water & earth.

Here is a swatch of the two colours blended together
These eyeshadow's are some of the easiest I have worked with in terms of blending, colour payoff and little to no fall out and believe me I got'alotta shadows;)

Lastly I also wanted to show case these shadows on paper to show you the varying finishes. Also how amazing these work on paper should you be working on a face chart and want to give them a go. These truly are an artist dream in every sense.

Another small thing I wanted to mention is the individual compacts have a nice substantial feel that is weighty in your hand, makes for a more luxe feel which I think in some areas can be a huge selling point. Simple but elegant design overall.

I being a person that not only loves makeup, but also art too was thrilled with the concept of this new eye shadow collection from Make Up For Ever and hope you will love it and give them a try.

You can try one for $25 a duo for $39 or a trio for $50

Available now at Sephora stores and online as well as MAKE UP FOR EVER boutiques
