L'OREAL INFALLIBLE GLISTENING GARNET EYESHADOW

I must be on another planet or Canada is extremely slow at releasing product. I only just found this colour of  L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow in "Glistening Garnet a couple of weeks back and apparently it has been out for quite some time. I really wish all makeup released in the U.S. & Canada at the same time. I also wish stores made sure that products land the day of release, just like guys and video game releases, we ladies need our makeup fix lol.

Any way enough of that, here is a look at this beauty

This is a beautiful purple toned colour that takes on a plum rusted look on the skin. It actually reminds me of a brighter take on the Chanel illusion d'ombre in "Fatal".

I really like the Infallible eyeshadows and all though more then I would like to spend on a single eyeshadow the two colours I do own which is this one and "Amber Rush" they were worth it. They blend well, excellent opacity and long wearing and no creasing on the eye. The colour pops even more with a good primer.

L'OREAL COLLECTION PRIVEE LIPSTICKS

Hi Gals & Guys,

So as promised I am reviewing for you today two of the lipsticks from the L'Oreal Collection Privee. I am so in love with not only the lipsticks, but the tubes are gorgeous, sleek and classy looking. I wish this was the permanent packaging for the entire L'Oreal lipstick line. There is something truly elegant about gold and black together, it makes me think of a New Years black tie affair.

Moving a long each lipstick in the collection is a hand selected colour by a celebrity.

In Canada, the offerings come from: Eva Longoria, Doutzen Kroes, Freida Pinto and JLo. Internationally, colours were chosen by Julianne Moore, Aimee Mullins, Sonam Kapoor, Jane Fonda, Fan Bingbing, Leïla Bekhti, Liya Kebede, Inès de la Fressange and Aishwarya Rai.

The first colour I picked for uniqueness is FREIDA'S NUDE- Which has an unusual mauve/grey tone to it
and the second colour is J'LO'S NUDE which in my eyes to date is just the most pout perfecting nude. A must try for nude lovers everywhere, if you can find it.

There are also mini nail polishes in some seriously awesome colours like pale cream pink, dusty grey, coffee bean brown and a rich deep mahogany brown, but I have had to put the breaks on when it comes to buying nail polish.

 

They other lipstick colour that was at the store that I did not get was a extremely pale pink nude which was pretty in the tube, but when swatched only left a mere whisper of colour behind.
