HI ALL,

So I am slowly trying to revamp my collection of body products and household items to more eco- friendly choices, as well as products that are less harmful on my skin and everyone in my family.

My interest in the "Live Clean" line started several years ago when I noticed that my baby's skin was having a reaction to Johnson's baby products. So as I walked the baby care aisle I noticed Live Clean, which at that time was newer to the market. I bought the shampoo & wash, as well as the lotion. That night after I bathed my baby with the product and put on some lotion I noticed what a gentle awesome smell this product had. It truly is a baby scent. I also noticed over the course of the week my child's skin returned to normal with no signs of rash, I was hooked on this wonderful product and it cost no more then the chemical filled Johnson products so it's definitely worth the switch.

Moving forward to today I have rediscovered my passion for live clean products, but this time it is the "EXOTIC NECTAR" collection which has a range of 8 products. I purchased the body lotion and body wash.

The body lotion dispenses a little more fluid then other lotions, but as you start to rub it in and it takes on a creamier consistency. I noticed it creates a shield over the surface of the skin and if you rub your skin an hour or so later it almost acts as though you have reactivated the lotion again to continue to hydrate.

 

I love that this particular collection has a nice nutty smell to it. For those that don't know Argan is a fruit that has a thick bitter peel, within that is an unpleasant flavoured pulpy flesh that only smells sweet. Deep within the Argan fruit is a hard nut that may only have a mere 2-3 seeds in it which Argan oil is extracted from.

The whole family can enjoy this product because it just smells good in a very unisex way.

 

Why not indulge further and take this amazing scent to the shower as well with this delicious creamy body wash. A must try for all fans of Argan products.

 

 

The body wash has a mild caramel colour to it similar to that of the Argan seeds on the label.

This gives a great lather, and easy rinsing. I find paired with the lotion is gives ultimate moisture that does last all day. I find if I use the lotion randomly throughout the day my hands have been feeling exceptionally soft, with no trace of a greasy feeling at all.

 

Live Clean states on their packaging the following

"Plant Based, Certified Organic Botanicals, Petroleum  Free, Mineral Oil, Paraben and Phthalate Free, Pure Vegan, Never tested on animals, Package recyclable, Biodegradable Ingredients, Hypoallergenic, Dermatologist tested."

 

That is a lot to promise in a product.

 

 

 

My only one concern about Live Clean is that I noticed in the ingredients that there is "Fragrance" which can be any number of other additional ingredients not clearly stated on the label for the consumer. Some of those ingredients may not be as skin and eco friendly as we would like and can often be the culprit for allergic reaction even though it is 98% plant based. So always keep that in mind when buying products.

MUN NO. 1 AKNARI NIGHTTIME DREAM YOUTH SERUM

So I received some sample vials of MUN NO.1 AKNARI NIGHTTIME DREAM YOUTH SERUM for review and consideration from their Canadian distributor "Red Pear."

Now with a product like a youth serum often times then not you must use it over a fairly long period of time to really see drastic results. That being said my opinion on this product is based as a result of a short two week trial and should not have any bearing on whether you try it and keep in mind RESULTS WILL VARY.

I am generally not a person who has serious problems with dry skin as mine is the opposite its very oily. I also do not have bad under eye circles or a great deal of fine lines. So these are all things MUN serum is suppose to help with along with reduction in hyper pigmentation and promoting healing.

My interest was seeing if this product would help my hyper pigmentation in around my cheek area, as I do have mild rosacea.

Please be aware that if you do try this product it has a strong smell that is some what a spicy floral scent. Aknari better known as prickly pear today is what is the main raw source for this product. The seeds of the prickly pear are what produce this very rich oil, which has a very distinct scent you will either love or hate.

I found under my eyes it felt somewhat smoother but again nothing drastic. I also did not see a difference with the hyperpigmentation in my skin, but again I would probably have to use it longer to see greater affects.

MUN serum also has a concentration of anti-oxidents and omega fatty acids. Its also natural and organic, which is definitely a plus. MUN is created completely free of synthetic chemicals

I will continue to use the product that I have till it's finished and at a much later time will try to update on my thoughts with prolonged use. I imagine for those in the later years of life this product could be extremely beneficial and would love to see the results from users in an older age group.
