WET N WILD MEGALAST POLISH AND LIPSTICKS

Hi everyone,

I have three items to share with you today which are two Wet N Wild Megalast lipsticks and a nail polish from the same line.

This is my first time purchasing a Wet N Wild Megalast nail polish, but I have heard many good things about the formula and its staying power. Also the awesome pro brush that really makes for good coverage. The colour I picked was UNDER YOUR SPELL. This is such a sexy vampy colour and I feel I will get good use out of it. I love anything that is deep garnet in colour.

I am recalling that I may have seen 20/30 GLAM speak of this colour, ladies correct me if I am wrong, but I do know these two gals adore this polish line as well.

HERE IS A LOOK AT "UNDER YOUR SPELL"

This nail polish has very good coverage this was actually one coat and I am very impressed. Also the megalast polishes are totally affordable at a mere $3 CAD for 13.5ml.

Then I bought two more of the Megalast lipsticks because I feel for $3 the colour really lasts on the lips (it will stain the lip) and the opacity is top notch.

L2r-966 DON'T BLINK PINK & 967 DOLLHOUSE PINK

Don't blink pink is a more melon toned pink and Dollhouse pink is true bubblegum pink with cool undertones to it and is totally amazing.

I have been pleased with all the colours I have purchased in this line. In the past I have also reviewed the colours 916 RAVIN'RAISIN, 913 SAND STORM & 906 WINE ROOM.

MAKE YOUR STATEMENT WITH MILANI LIPSTICKS

Good day everyone,

 

I don't know what it is, but I find myself on a lipstick buying binge as of late, actually more then anything else. Years ago I had a huge makeup collection before blogging and Youtube became the big thing. I often think all those years I could have been doing this *SIGH* and my lipstick collection was just as big then as it is again now.

 

I recently went to a near by Loblaw and did not realize the huge selection they have of cosmetics including Milani which is a great discovery.

 

I picked up another fall type colour which is the Milani Colour Statement lipstick 17 PLUMROSE.

I wore this yesterday when I went out and had a couple of women ask me what I was wearing. It does tend to be a brighter bolder lipstick, but still very wearable.

 

 

 

 

I feel it picked up a lot more red in the picture but is quite a deep pink mauve in the light.

 

I feel Milani lipsticks have very good staying power and it barely faded by the time I got home after a few hours out. However everyone's experience with lipstick and cosmetics in general will always differ.

Milani has recently changed the smell in their lipsticks which I definitely appreciate. Previous 

lipsticks like Rose Hip or Mango Mambo are almost unbearable for me to wear because of over fragrance. However Rose Hip has now been carried over to the new line.

 

So if your looking for a lipstick that is great for fall but not really typical of the darker garnets and plums then this colour would be a good fit.

"FALL" FOR WET N WILD MEGA SHIELD LIPSTICKS

Hi again everyone,


So to follow up to my previous post on Wet N Wild today I will be showing you four lipsticks from the MEGA SHIELD COLLECTION. To start there is 14 colours all together ranging from neutral nudes to the deepest berry tones and delicious pinks.

So my top picks are

BARE-LY LEGAL- This colour tends to lean more to the mocha brown side, this was more appealing to me in the tube sad to say. I use to love brownish toned lipsticks when I was younger and I confess I did the brown lip line around my lip which just looked ridiculous (lesson learned).

BIRTHDAY SUIT- This brilliant nude has a satin pink gold tone to it. This is for sure my favourite of the four lipsticks. This colour creates a slight foil finish to the lip, but nothing to dramatic, it's totally wearable day or night.

PEACHY KEEN- This is rather surprising because in the tube it just seems like a neutral tone with hints of peach in it, however it takes on a whole different look once applied. It has a very strong peachy tangerine tone to it with a shimmer and will work great for fall or summer. A lot of orange toned lipsticks were seen going down the runway at the recent New York fashion week so this colour is right on trend for the season.

WITHIN THESE ADOBE- is a very creamy opaque pink that makes me think of the inside of the light red grapefruits. Its fresh and pretty and does make your lips stand out. Similar to colours in the NYX line.

I like how moisturizing these Mega Shield lip colours are. I would not say these are sheer they definitely can hold their own pigment wise. All these lipsticks have SPF 15 in them and your lips will feel renewed from the rice bran and avocado oil in them.

 

 I equally enjoy these lipsticks as much as the Mega Last which tend to be slightly drying to the lip due to their semi-matte finish, but just add a little gloss to help with that.
