"HALLOWEEN KISSES" FANTASY MAKERS LIPSTICK AND GLITTER EYELINER

Hi again everyone,

Before we begin today just a side note. I will not be posting anything for the next couple of day as it is Canadian Thanksgiving this week-end and I have many other things to focus on at the moment. So stay tuned for much more starting up again next Tuesday:) Thanks for your support everyone

Moving on to more of the Halloween theme lets take a look at two of the Fantasy Makers lipsticks available now till Halloween and one glitter liner.

The first colour is the traditional red which can be used to do sultry vampiress looks or if you love red lipstick you can grab this for super cheap and get that red that you crave.

Next we have that fierce black that you either love or hate, for many years I rocked a black lip even when the world wasn't ready for it.

Lastly you can also combine the two to create a more deep blood red ombre affect, which can also be great for Halloween or anytime if that's the style you love

There are very tiny fine red glitters in the red that show up more when you do this combination.

I find the lipsticks do have that slight Halloween waxy smell, but I don't find it bothersome. I find the black wears off quicker because it seems slightly oilier.

I NOTICED ON THE FANTASY MAKER WEBSITE TWO VERSIONS OF THE BLACK AND RED LIPSTICK TUBES AND THERE ARE ALSO THREE SPARKLING LIP GLOSSES IN WHITE, RED & BLACK WHICH LOOK GOOD, BUT I HAVE NOT SEEN THEM AT A STORE NEAR ME. AGAIN SOME ITEMS MIGHT BE US RELEASES ONLY

You get 3.6g for$1.99 CAD

Last up is one of four glitter eyeliners, I opted for a teal one because it can carry me through the Christmas holidays as well as into the summer months, but they also come in black, silver and purple. I don't use glitter liner enough to justify purchasing all four of them.

I find the glitter a bit of a pain to work with and before each additional application I recommend letting the first one dry. If the previous application is still wet you just keeping shifting the product around and actually start making a mess and not a define line. As you can see even I did not do the best possible application. I did get a bit in my eye and it felt awful, so be careful. To remove it make sure you use a good eye makeup remover or just good old fashion soap and water, which to me works the very best.

You get 4.6g for $2.99 CAD

BE SURE TO CHECK OUT A FULL RANGE OF FANTASY MAKERS ONLINE OR AT A STORE NEAR YOU, ONLY FOR A LIMITED TIME

ARE YOU PICKING UP EITHER OF THESE LIPSTICKS OR ANY LINERS?? LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE SPOTTED THE GLOSSES WHERE YOU LIVE AND HOW MUCH THEY ARE??

TILL NEXT TIME

GUYS & GHOULS;) XO

"NAILS IN THE COFFIN" LETS TALK WET N WILD FANTASY MAKERS NAIL POLISH

Hi everyone,

To start over the next few days I will be posting several reviews on fun funky makeup products that are packaged for Halloween, but to me can be used anytime really.

So today lets take a look at Fantasy Makers by Wet N Wild nail polishes.

As soon as I saw these I was totally sold first and for most on the awesome packaging idea which is the bottles of polish look like tombstones, great idea.

There are six colours in all, but in Canada only 4 of those are available and I picked up three. That's why I love Fantasy Makers and Wet N Wild you get a great bang for your buck, nothing is over priced and if you want to pick up an entire collection you can because its easy on the wallet.

Starting from the left is a bright pumpkin orange colour called GHOULS RUSH IN If you love bold bright colours then this will work for you now and anytime even after Halloween. It would even be great for summer as well. Always remember "Think outside the box."

Then the middle polish is my fave, it goes on like a clear coat, but is totally awesome because it GLOWS IN THE DARK. Its called GO WITH THE GLOW. If you hold your nails under a light for about 30seconds it gives off a great glow, and trust me not all glow products are created equal. I have had this in the past and some how this is always a nail polish that goes missing from my stash?!?!?

Lastly is none other then the infamous Fantasy Maker's black polish which was the very first black polish I bought with my allowance when I was about 12. For those that don't know I have always had a soft spot for the dark and macabre and Halloween is second to Christmas for my favourite holidays. I think it should be an official holiday or at least the day after because who the heck wants to go to work or school after a fun night like Halloween that these past few years has been landing right in the middle of the week which sucks. This black is called DARKEST HOUR. I always appreciate seeing this items return year after year because this is a long lived tradition in my books.

The colour I did not pick up was a metallic silver and I may still grab it this week because that would be nice as well for Christmas nail looks.
Also on the Fantasy Makers sub-site there is two other polishes I did not see at the store near me and maybe exclusive to the US only.

I find the quality of the polish is on par with Wet N Wilds regular polishes and call it what you want, give it a pseudonym like Fantasy Makers, its still WNW.
That being said you can be sure the colour payoff and quality you expect is there and the bottles are super spooktacular at 10ml for $2 you'll want to get some before they disappear;)

LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE MEMORIES OF FANTASY MAKERS PRODUCTS. DO YOU PICK UP ITEMS FROM THESE COLLECTIONS EACH YEAR??

CHECK A RETAILER NEAR YOU FOR THE FANTASY MAKER PREPACK DISPLAY

THANKS FOR HANGING AROUND AND READING AND

STAY GHOSTLY GLAMOROUS

Just a quick update I did go back to the store and picked up the silver polish which is called "ONCE UPON A TIME". I am actually really glad I did get this because the opacity of this polish is amazing and can very well be used for many other year round looks. I am thinking new years bling nails;)

Hope you all get some

LUST AND BUTTER FOR YOUR LIPS, REVLON LIPPIES IN REVIEW

BACK AGAIN ARE YA?

Well today I am covering Revlon lip products and all of them are true to the fall season. Lets jump right to my first pick which is the
REVLON LIP BUTTER- 085 SUGAR PLUM
I love the lip butter formulations because I find they apply buttery soft and leave a beautiful rich wash of colour over your lips in as little as one sweep. The colours are very buildable with good pigmentation especially the darker colours like this one. Sugar Plum leaves a beautiful pinched plum colour behind and has very nice shine that makes the lips look delightful.

Just be careful not to press really hard or leave your lip butter's in a spot that gets to warm, as they are a softer lip product and can easily become a mess in the tube if not handled with care. The testers at the store for this product are the worst. However I love Revlon lip butters and lip products over all and they probably are #1 in my books for drug store level products.

Next are 3 berry toned gems that are sure to fulfill your fall fantasy and they are

Crème- 660 BERRY HAUTE I love this colour its just the right amount of pink and purple combined together to make a decadent creamy berry lip.

Pearl- 470 COPPERGLOW BERRY- This is just that a gorgeous rusted berry lipstick. It has copper flecks that catch the light beautifully on the lips and draw the attention to your mouth. The pearl finish gives this lipstick a glam feel that can also be played up for a night on the town. However I do feel this is one of those colours that won't suit everyone, so make sure to try out the tester.

Pearl- 625 ICED AMETHYST- This is a strong pink/purple metallic type lipstick that seems a lot darker in the tube. It does have fine gold particles that also catch the light and give your lips a slight hit of sparkle. It is a bit of a louder colour especially out in direct sunlight. So for those looking for something a little less out there I wouldn't recommend this colour unless you love bolder, brighter lipsticks. This is good for women who loved the rich bright summer pinks that are looking for a deeper pink, but still has that kick.

For some reason the swatch on my hand picked up more purple, but the colour in the tube is a lot more accurate to the colour on my lips.

I highly recommend Revlon lip products because they offer so many different types such as the Suede lipstick, lip butters, lip stains, lip gloss and probably one of the largest selections of lipstick finishes and colour choices at drug store level.

Out of the 4 items I shared today I would say for everyday wear definitely pick up the lip butter in Sugar Plum & the lipstick 660 Berry Haute. These colours are versatile and will take you right through winter as well.

I hope you enjoyed todays post on all things Revlon and come back soon

STAY BEAUTIFUL XO
