NEW L'OREAL COLOUR ME PINK COLLECTION LIPSTICKS AND NEW INFALLIBLE EYESHADOW SHADE

I have had these products since they were released here in Canada, but I have so much stuff to review right now that many people have already been reviewing these products.

Lets jump in

INFALLIBLE 892- AMBER RUSH

Since the release of Infallible eyeshadows I vividly remember staring at how beautiful and pigmented all the colours offered were. I so many times would go to purchase the colour "Gold Mine" and without fail would always put it back. I hated that they were $10 for one eyeshadow, I am a cheapskate in a way.
Then two new colours were released in these past few weeks so I caved and bought Amber Rush.

Amber Rush applies amazing and stays put especially when used with a primer or even NYX jumbo pencil in MILK. I love that in the jar it looks bronze, but as you apply it to the skin it takes on such a beautiful rose bronze tone that is even better then rose gold in my eyes and looks so lustrous and gorgeous. It leaves that awesome foil finish that is a hit with me. A little goes a long way and it's very blendable and soft. You can really build this colour to make a more high impact eye look, or just apply minimally to add a beautiful touch a shimmer and light.
So I guess I was meant to wait because I love this colour even more then I thought I would love "Gold Mine."

COLOUR ME PINK COLLECTION LIPSTICKS

135 - BALLERINA SHOES

Perfectly named this lipstick looks like the soft gentle satin pink of a pair of new ballerina shoes. This lip colour is not going to work for everyone, but does the job for me, however it is not my favorite of the three I purchased. I remember the very first lipstick I wore when I was very young was reminiscent of this shade and it was by Wet N Wild. If this colour is not working for you try blending it with another colour or using it to do an ombre lip look.

Some people may find it makes them look washed out, so be sure to purchase accordingly not just because you love the colour, but does the colour love you.

175- I PINK YOU'RE CUTE
This colour is more of a fresh summer fruit, peachy pink that will look great against darker skin or at least that's my personal preference. It totally reminds me of the inner flesh of a Guava fruit.

180- PINK FLAMINGO
This is such a pretty cerise pink that will be most complimentary to many skin tones. I wouldn't say the name "Pink Flamingo" is an accurate description for this colour I actually think that would have been more befitting to "I pink you're cute." No less it's still a very lovely wearable colour and will work right into the fall for most.

All of L'Oreal's lipsticks are very hydrating and the colour pay off is top notch. However even though I don't mind the smell it's my least favorite thing about L'Oreal lipsticks.
If you are a lover of all things pink I urge you to check out this collection soon.
In the prepack offered at Shoppers Drug Mart there are 8 colour choices.

Both the Infallible eyeshadow and the lipsticks are $10.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart, but I did see them at Walmart for $8.97.

NEW REVLON COLOURS-SUPER LUSTROUS LIPSTICK & GLOSSES

I admit I have not used Revlon lip colours of any kind in a very long time. So I thought since they brought out about a dozen each of new glosses and lipstick it was time to reacquaint myself.

So I bought the super lustrous lipstick in the colour LOVER'S CORAL which is a beautiful colour for summer and sure to be a hot seller this season. It adds a nice creamy smooth wash of colour but it's not to super bright which may help to open up the age ratio because some older women may not want to wear something quite as daring as say Maybelline's "PINK POP."
I like this because it's staying true to the orange and coral family of colours, but is just the right amount of sexy colour.

EXCUSE THE DUCK LIPS ;)

They only thing I find is that because it has a very slippery feel it tends to come off fairly quick if your eating or drinking anything, however I don't mind reapplying. My biggest complaint with a lot of lipsticks now a days is the price I have a really hard time paying out $10 or more for lipsticks or any products for that matter. I know we have to evolve with the times and costs go up, but really $10. I am astounded when I see people willing paying $20-50 for a cosmetic product, YIKES! especially when I know how much those products actually cost to manufacture and how horrible the Canadian mark up is.

Moving along I also bought two of the Super Lustrous Glosses, my picks were SUGAR VIOLET & PINK POP which are both lovely colours, but originally when I bought them I thought I was totally going to be loving the sugar violet and that has not been the case. I actually have fallen in love with the pink pop. Here it is such a nice juicy watermelon colour for the lips

This colour is so nice and glossy and this tends to be more a cream finish where as the sugar violet has a sparkle in it.

I find with "Sugar Violet" that it wears very sheer and not as intense as it would seem in the tube. However pink pop because it's a cream you can build up the colour better.

So here is sugar violet

I don't know what it is every time I use a gloss with sparkle when I first apply it my lips feel really funny like they are slightly burning, but then it's gone with in a minute or so!?!? Anyone else ever notice this? do leave a comment below, also tell me what your favorite lip glosses are.

I do like all the products mentioned here for different reasons and find them to be quality purchases. Long ago my go to favorite lipstick in high school was the coveted Revlon TOAST OF NEW YORK which was one of the best selling lipsticks amongst us teen girls in the 90's. It obviously has stood the test of time because it's still on the shelf today.

So the glosses and lipsticks are about the same price depending on where you shop. They are approx. $10. I don't know if all the colours being offered will remain a part of Revlon's permanent collection. So don't delay get yours today.

Glosses are .13fl oz/3.8ml
Lipsticks are standard size does not show amount on actual tube or sticker on bottom

I purchased mine at my local SHOPPER'S DRUG MART, but I am sure you can pick these up a most mass retailers near you.

Hope you enjoyed this review and stay tuned as I will be reviewing two of my favorite Revlon matte lip colours soon

UNTIL THEN EVERYONE.....
