WET N WILD MEGA LAST LIPSTICKS

HELLO EVERYONE,

So after thinking all hope had failed my search is finally over. I thought I would never get my hands on some better Wet N Wild products, to my surprise a Walmart further away from me carries a whole bunch of great stuff. It goes to show that the Walmart by me is just a poorly stocked DUMP.

These first 3 lipsticks are part of the MEGA LAST LIPSTICK COLLECTION, they are all absolutely amazing. They have gorgeous colour payoff, they are creamy, with a semi-matte finish and last for several hours or more depending on activity level. They go beyond their packaging claims. So thumbs up to Wet N Wild.

The colours I chose are as follows

SAND STORM, A neutral terracotta toned shade for those that love a more natural lip and nothing to dramatic.

WINE ROOM, Just the right kind of winey red that is suitable for most skin tones and has a pink base to it.

RAVIN'RAISIN, This colour borderlines with it's darker sister VAMP IT UP, however this is a very rich eggplant purple where as "Vamp it up" tends to lean more blackened plum purple. Both colours are highly dramatic and not for the faint of heart. 

 L2R: Sand Storm, Wine Room, Ravin'Raisin

The thing I like most is that these are very buildable colours that can easily be worn lightly or pack it on for real intense colour punch.   

Now that I have bought these and been able to try them out I surely will be grabbing some more, so expect another review in the future on other colours.

Wet N Wild is great affordable products and these lipsticks are no exception at a mere $3 you can't go wrong.

My only real complaint with any of the lipsticks I purchased is the packaging is a bit of disaster. You have to be so careful putting the lids on or taking them off. If you do it in a hurry you will surely mash up your lipsticks. From the sight of the testers at the store I can see this could be an all out mess. So hopefully Wet N Wild will figure out a different design for future releases.

MILANI COSMETICS LIPSTICKS, GLOSS, LIP CRAYON AND BRONZER

Originally when I placed this order I thought I had a variety of items, only to discover that its mostly lip products. So if your a big fan of lip goodies then keep reading.

All the Milani items I ordered are from WELL.CA.

The first item is the LIP FLASH full coverage shimmer gloss pencil. This pencil is amazing you look at it on and would think it came from a lipstick tube, but no it's a crayon. The colour is 05 HOT FLASH. This is a true sexy red that leaves a wet look to the lips.

The next item is the CRYSTAL GLOSS FOR LIPS in the colour SUMMER BABY. This is such a pretty soft pink with a beautiful fine gold shimmer. This is almost identical to PAUL & JOE'S lip gloss, part of the lip and eye duo called Santa Monica. The only difference is Paul & Joe's is a hair lighter. You can also get a similar colour from Mac called Nymphette

 

 

 

However all these colours are similar but not in price. The Milani is only $5.50, Mac runs $15 and on the higher end Paul & Joe's lip and eye duo is $34. At least there is options here for every budget which is nice.

 

The next two items are Milani's colour perfect lipsticks.

 

For summer I am a huge fan of the bright and bold, so after viewing colour swatches on line at WELL.CA I decided to go with #23 MANGO MAMBO. This is a rich orange red colour that is not for the faint of heart, you will stop traffic with this lip colour.

 

 

The next colour is #07 ROSE HIP. This lipstick is such a staggering bright pink your friends may need to wear sunglasses. This is a deep delicious pink reminiscent of that of the skin on the magical dragon fruit. So if your looking for a bright exotic pink to wear this summer grab yourself some "Rose Hip."

 

 

 

Milani lipsticks do have fragrance in them that is noticeable, so beware if your sensitive to fragrant cosmetics. They are 3.74g and are only $5.29 at Well.Ca.

 

The very last item today is the BAKED BRONZER in the shade SOLEIL. This is a very nice bronzer, however it does have a noticeable shimmer to it compare to other's I have tried. Which in the world of bronzer you either love it or hate it. I don't mind it, but I prefer something warmer and more natural. The compact is fairly nice and has an extra compartment that houses a small brush and a handy mirror, similar to that of Physicians Formula. Great for throwing into your bag for on the go touch ups.

 

 

 

So if your looking for a fun, sunny, affordable bronzer check out Milani Baked Bronzer today. It also has no scent which is nice and may be more ideal for those who have sensitive skin.
